Gladstone Psychiatry And Wellness's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient at Gladstone for years, but they have lost their way as a business. They could not get those phones straight during Covid which I forgave because they’ve always been wonderful, but I think they are just too big now. They are just as bad as trying to deal with like ThriveWorks or Spectrum. They used to be very helpful and I really enjoyed them. I won’t name my psychiatrist because truly she is a very nice person, but she is so chronically 30 minutes late to my appointment that I requested via email a new provider. I know they received my email because the last time my doctor was very late to my appointment in January and I had to sign off without seeing her, they still billed me my $15 co pay and then in March sent the $15 co pay to a debt collector. They did not call at all to let me know they were sending the $15 to a debt collector. I paid anyway. My last appointment that didn’t happen was 2 weeks ago and I emailed about the new provider same day and I was not sent an invoice for anything. So then I sent a follow up about the new provider a few days later and they ignored it. I can assume they saw it and they are just hoping I leave them alone. Even though my request was not outrageous or rude for a new provider. I still acknowledge that my psychiatrist is a lovely person even if she has chronic tardiness. This is frustrating to have access to my treatment have so many barriers that really don’t need to have happened. Anyway, I will find a provider elsewhere.

Dr. Garcia is very professional and takes the time to explain everything to you.

My nurse practitioner, Tiffany Barnes, was 20+ minutes late to my appointment with no explanation. During the appointment, she was very cold and disengaged, looked at her computer the whole time, and asked very few questions about my symptoms. It basically felt like she was trying to finish as fast as possible with minimum effort, she dismissed my pre-existing ADHD diagnosis and just prescribed an antidepressant. After the appointment, she did not even send the medication to my pharmacy. The prescription was sent more than a week later after I cancelled my follow-up appointment, when I decided that I would like a more compassionate and engaged provider. If that is something you are looking for, I would recommend looking elsewhere

I’d had trouble finding mental health care that worked with my insurance and was reputable/competent (?), so I thought I’d try Gladstone when I passed their sign in a building I was in. My psychiatrist for meds, Dr. Tiffany, is VERY knowledgeable and considers my current tough circumstances when deciding on meds, WITH insurance, which means it costs out of pocket $215 less than my old dr. I did get reimbursed before, but it doesn’t have to come from me first! They would get a hands down five if they were able to connect me with a regular counselor, too, but they’ve had a wait list going for that. In their favor, they have kept in touch about moving up the list. The meetings can be virtual, which works for me, and they have a variety of practitioners. OH…and when I called, the intake person*listened* and actively tried to get me to a person that might be a good fit! Their support personnel are quick to get back to you and use text and phone efficiently to manage everything. Ok, I’m changing it to five.

The staff is so friendly, the office is convenient, clean, and inviting. However, I’m there for my Doctor who is fantastic, Intuitive, non-judgmental, caring, accommodating, responsive, understanding and mostly helpful!

I have had many doctors and prescribing nurses over the past 25 years or so, and Vonetta Davis is the best by far. Intelligent, warm and very attentive to every detail ; her wonderful sense of humor is also a plus. The staff is also very kind and welcoming. I could not be more please with the care I get there.
