I don't typically write reviews but I can't avoid writing one for Dr. Kumkumian. Dr. Kumkumian is THE best interventional cardiologists in the DMV area. He truly is an angel sent from heaven. My father wouldn't be alive and living the quality of life he currently is without Dr. Kumkumian's knowledge, expertise, guidance, and efforts. Dr. Kumkumian is very humble yet confident and knows his trade extremely well. The outcome of any procedure isn't entirely in the hands of any provider but being in the hands of Dr. Kumkumian you should know that he will be absolutely committed to do what is best for you.

Saw him for transient ischemic attack heart tests. Called three times to get test result explanation. He sent a one-line explanation 8 days after test results were completed and sent to him.

Dr. Siegenthaler referred me to Dr.Kumkumian for cardiac follow-up after emergency surgery for transected aorta. I trust my life to these two wonderful physicians. Dr.Kumkumian shows patience with understanding, and the ability to know what to do when something needs attention.He and Dr. Siegenthaler continue to communicate about on-going cardiac rehabilitation. I am so vey grateful to Dr. Siegenthaler and the cardiac surgery team -(Anesthesiologists, OR nurses and the staff involved in care), and especially now to Dr.Kumkumian,who with the clinical nurse specialists, continue in my care.Please be aware of the mortality rates for transected aorta. I lived-- because of the availability of this care and Suburban Hospital. Respectfully, Virgil Huber

Was sad to see a negative over a cancelled appt. Things in life occur. Dr. Kumkumian is a marvelous FABULOUS wonderful, & very kind thoughtful physician & man. You are blessed & forunate to have him as a Dr. Enough words cannot decribe WHY Dr. K is a 10-STAR Dr. TY Harold & Marydon Ford
