Ian Weiner's Online Review Report Card

Although dr weiner was recommended by my PCP, I was disappointed with my visit. I had questions but felt rushed and wasn’t able to ask them. He gave me advice that I saw online. When he recommended exercises, a sheet of paper with diagrams was given to me. I asked if someone would show me how each one is done, but the assistant seemed annoyed with that, and wasn’t much help. Basically I feel it was a waste of time and money. Radiographs were taken, although not sure why since I came in for plantar fasciitis , which doesn’t call for that. No lead apron was used, and I know , since i take radiographs as well in my job, that one should be used. He seemed nice, but if my symptoms continue I will most likely go elsewhere.

Abrupt, minimal explanation, cockey. Doesn’t deserve my business.

I was referred to see Dr. Weiner from the organization I work for due to WC and he was very unprofessional and reading the report he presented to the company I noticed he wrote something that was irrelevant and shouldn’t have been said since it had nothing to do with my injury.

Very rude and dismissive. I will not go to him again.

Dr Weiner had me wait 6 months after my talus fracture to see if things would improve. I saw him multiple times during this period and he would just pop in real quick, say the absolute bare minimum and tell me to wait. I would explain my pain but he showed no compassion. I wanted to get surgery right away but he had me wait to see. I see him after 6 months and still have pain and he just tells me it is what it is and basically to deal with it. I wasted 6 months with this doctor taking my copays, getting him scan after scan for him to do absolutely nothing for me. Literally a waste of time. I am now seeing 2 other doctors that are willing to work with me. Don't waste your time with this doctor like I did.

Dr. Weiner was personable, professional, thorough and beyond competent. I was well pleased with the services rendered. The only area of opportunity I observed was the checkin process. When I entered, people were sitting and only one person was at the front desk windows. As soon as I stepped forward, one of the ladies working behind the desk said she couldn’t help me because there were 4 others in front of me which was fine however how would I have known that? The mere fact that they were sitting made it appear that that had been checked in as that is how it usually goes. You check in then sit down. I do not like being reduced to a number but they may want to consider adopting a better system so as to lessen confusion.

Dr Weiner is very condescending. I’m sure he knows his specialty well, but personally, I think his arrogance could get in the way of my medical well-being. I’d also like to note, I have no doubt in my mind that he would not have talked down to a male patient as he did to me.
