Thank God another neurosurgeon guided me away from this guy in 2013. All he was interested in was my good Blue Cross insurance. He wanted to completely fuse my degenerative lumbar arthritis. My neurosurgeon said, " Have you ever put a screw in plaster. It will hold for awhile, then come loose. Then you're in a wheelchair." Beware of doctors after $$$$.

Dr Garonzik takes his time and listens during your appointments. He proceeds with non invasive ideas to solve your concerns/limitations. With guidance from him, physical therapy has put me back on track. I went to his office thinking of surgery. Nope, he said. We’re going to get you fixed up. I still have some struggles but I’m definitely not in need of surgery.

I went to Dr Garonzik for back pain and he did a full MRI, but advised me to see a throat specialist for possible throat problems. It was throat cancer, I took the Chemo and Radiation and now I've been in remission for 3 years. I found his concern and follow through to be extremely competent and caring. The Cancer had zero to do with my back, we'll get to that later

A truly outstanding Surgeon. Excellent bedside manner. Patient with patients. He takes the time to explain the procedure. He works with an excellent team. The operation went well. Again spending time afterwards, a week later, six months later, and a year later. Now 18 months after the operation - a smashing success.
