I went to Dr. Joh originally to consider a prophylactic mastectomy. I was struck by how invested Dr. Joh was in understanding my mindset and long-term thinking about my breast cancer risk, in addition to the normal medical stuff. She spent a lot of time explaining the science and medical options, answering questions, and developing a plan with me. In a plot twist, Dr. Joh and her radiologist at Mercy Hospital saw something suspicious on my breast MRI that no other providers had flagged for an immediate biopsy. The biopsy came back showing early stage breast cancer. I am beyond grateful that Dr. Joh urged me to get a biopsy, and also so grateful that I had already discussed a mastectomy plan with her so I could handle the cancer news so much better! I live in Virginia but driving to Baltimore for Dr. Joh is well worth it! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Joh for any women facing a decision about breast surgery.

Dr. Joh was recommended by my friend's doctor. As far as I'm concerned, there are not enough adjectives to describe how I feel about her. She was kindhearted, thoughtful and thorough in explaining my condition. No pressure tactics and I liked that she looked me in the eye. Her staff was considerate; especially Kondi who had the task of setting up everything for this out-of-towner. I was worried about getting to hospital on time for surgery and she gave me easy to follow directions. I slipped up and went to Dr. Joh's Lutherville office for my post-op appointment. Even though she had a prior engagement with a family member, she waited till I got to the hospital. This meant a lot to me.

Dr. Joh is a caring and professional doctor. She is clear about the procedures available and takes time to answer any questions one might have. My surgery went well and I would recommend her without hesitation. Feeling very grateful for the care I received.

Dr Joh is a caring and compassionate doctor. One of the best in the area. Her staff has been very responsive and very detailed. The journey we have with Mercy Hospital, their doctors and their staff has been excellent.

Dr. Joh is wonderful and I have recommended her to several people. I trust her completely and am very pleased with the care she provides. She is very compassionate and personable. She truly cares for each patients. I always pick up a few extra of her cards to share with others that may be able to benefit from her care. If you need a physician within her specialty, you won't go wrong to see Dr. Joh.

I went to Mercy and talked to Dr. JOH. Breast Cancer is complicated and very scary! I feel I did not make the right decision. I should have listened to Dr. JOH!! I'm having complications because I went to another facility I should have stayed with Mercy And Dr. JOH. Your in good hands with this fabulous Dr. Jackie Stanford
