List of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center's Reviews
Came in on ambulance. Been waiting in waiting room since 9am. It's almost 7pm now and I've been looked at twice. Ridiculous
very poor management on billing.
This hospital has gone down hill. From the upkeep of the bathrooms and waiting rooms to the miscommunication from certain staff members, I am disgusted this this hospital. My family member has been here for 4 days. The first day the communication and updates were very good. Then the next two days, the assigned nurse was not forthcoming with information and gave us an attitude when we asked for more information about something that was happening with my family member. Thank God the assigned nurse today is very happy to provide information, answer questions, and keep us updated. The room my family member is in also has an in-room toilet that is under a sink. The toilet has not been used by my family member during their stay yet the smell coming from the area is disgusting. The toilet also has mold under the rim. Trying to get someone to come restock toilet paper proves to be more difficult than one would expect due to outdated signage. For example, the bathroom has a sign advising to call 00317 for environmental services but calling that number directs you to call another number and when you call that number, they can't help unless you are an employee or patient. I was told to go find someone. The cafeteria has sgns they are open until 7:30 pm. Please explain why at 3 pm every single station was closed except for the pre-made and single serve items. Also, for a hospital that only has 'heart healthy' items, why are you selling the chemical laden diet sodas and not juice flavored waters?!
Have always received excellent care at Hopkins Bayview. Would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors of the cardiac cath lab and PACU for the excellent care and support they provided my loved one.
DO NOT GO HERE! LONG WAIT TIMES FOR E.R, NO ANSWERS FOR MEDICAL PROBLEMS YOURE HAVING EXCEPT “ANXIETY”😂 and my god mother is deteriorating and they sent her home with not knowing what was wrong and told her to see specialists!!! Send her to another hospital if you can’t do your job! Bunch of real life clowns in scrubs at bay view.
I love the services, they take the time to assist your needs....
3rd floor recovery is trash. The staff are no help and unprofessional. They have no communication skills. And they ignore you when trying to get information
ER is very slow getting in, getting help once in. The average wait time is horrible.
Worse experience ever. Left my sister who cannot walk in an ER room with no call button . She needed help going to the bathroom and was yelling for help, nobody came. I kept calling the nurses station while home trying to get someone and was on hold 20 minutes. I drove to the hospital. 3 people at the desk , my sister lying in feces for close to an hour .I questioned the Dr about her care and I'm banned from seeing my sister .
ER is usually a long wait but nurses and doctors are very attentive, clean rooms, Bayview Hospital has serviced my family well from cancer to the birth of a family member. I highly recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
