List of Johns Hopkins Community Physicians's Reviews
I cut my hand recently and needed to see a doctor asap. They fit me in immediately. Entire staff from receptionist to doctor is fantastic.
New patient to PCP@REMINGTON JHCP, my previous PCP Internal Med doctor retired (well deserved) after being her patient for over 35years. But, REMINGTON has impressed me, the location is extremely convenient, the office layout is great and no waiting room, after checking in, I went straight into a treatment room, the front desk was pleasant! Registration was great! The nurse was great! And, even though she will not be my PCP, she is in place to take care of urgent needs, Dr. Purcell, AWWWSOME💯 Thank you JHCP@REMINGTON, a true pleasure!
I have been going to Johns Hopkins Community Physicians at Remington for almost nine years. The facilities are clean, parking is covered and free with validation, but most of all, the doctors and staff go above and beyond for their patients. They are quick to respond to messages, follow through when they say they are going to call you, and genuinely care. I just had my first baby four days ago and now bring him to the pediatrics department at Remington. It's wonderful to be able to get such great care so close to home.
This place needs to close down. The physicians don’t care about the patients at all. Also, the physicians I was going to was falsifying treatment plans to my insurance company. Then the front desk receptionist asking me to tell her my urgent care problems in front of a room full of people. I told her I will wait until o go to the back and let the doctor know. This place has gone down
I love having a doctor's office I can walk to! This Johns Hopkins Community Physicians location is so convenient for me (I live in Hampden) - right in the heart of Remington in Remington Row. There's a big parking lot, but I've walked over whenever I have appointments. They have several specialties housed in the same practice; I've seen primary care and gynecology, but there are several others. Like any medical practice, some doctors are right for certain patients, and it may take a while to find someone that is right for you. The 3 stars are really due to the location and convenience!
The people are nice but the practice itself is horrible! I had to wait two months just to get the appointment then I got there at 9:30am on time and did not leave until 12pm. They are so slow! I have been going here since they opened and I’ve watched them get worse and worse.
My husband and I both see Dr. Gwynn. He has been on top of managing our multiple issues and concerns with kindness, thoroughness and concern. They, despite being extraordinarily busy, havw bwen helpful without being resentful, and are very responsive to messages in My Chart.
We are 2 years into a pandemic and in the middle of allergy season, and they are still not allowing in-person visits if the patient is congested. My toddler just recovered from COVID, has a ton of lingering issues, and I can't get him seen by an actual doctor because he also has allergies. At a medical establishment. It's insane.
Jill Crank has been an absolute treasure to have as a primary care provider. John’s Hopkins would be best to hang onto her tight and use her as an example of excellent patient care, communication and overall bedside manner. I tell everyone I love to get in her waiting list, because she’s been such an immense help to me. She is incredibly responsive to MyChart messages and looped in with my other doctors and pharmacy when I was having some Covid/Shingles complications. I’m really grateful for her advocacy and care during an incredibly painful health scare!
Their billing department is a big scam. They charged us for a service that we have never received. AVOID THEM!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
