List of Kristine C Salvo's Reviews
I have been a patient of Dr. Salvo's for 20+ years when my military travels permitted. She is very personable and caring. I certainly will miss her caring support. Dr. Salvo is a true credit to herself and her patients. She will be missed. I would like to wish her great success in her retirement!
She is a Great Doctor works well Me on Medical Issues
I've gone to Chapel View since 2010 and always find the staff and the facility wonderful. They are truly committed to compassionate care. Thank you!
Dr. Salvo is great, but the office staff and policies are HORRENDOUS ! They demand you give them your credit card and allow them to charge whatever amount they want. They can charge you more than your insurance company allows. In other words, they do NOT accept insurance. Stay away from this practice.
Dr. Salvo is an extremely good Physician. But the office staff and policies make my occasional visit unbearable. Rude, condescending, ignorant.... throw in our choice of adjectives. To top it off, they now require you to have a credit card or they will not see you as a patient. They demand that you allow them to keep your credit card on file and open to any and all charges they deem appropriate. You could end up with a charge of $1,000 or more for no reason.
My father had always been my doctor until he retired. The switch over to Dr. Salvo was very easy. I have the same confidence and trust in her abilities and knowledge. She takes the time to listen, her practice has the technology needed to keep on top of today's medicine. They povide great care at Chapel View Family Care.
I've been seeing this GP for a number of years. While I was in good health, I had no complaints. However, recently I developed debilitating symptoms that she initially dismissed as a normal part of aging. When the symptoms became chronic, I started seeing her more frequently. Dr. Salvo treats lab work, not patients. She does not factor in family history and symptoms as a part of her diagnosing process. Whenever I had an office visit, she rarely made eye contact with me because her attention was directed to her computer monitor as she spends the entire visit taking notes. She did not provide me with information, educate me about my problem, explain my lab work to me or answer my questions in a way that made any sense to me. Dealing with her was a misery. I was facing a medical crisis that had left me virtually bedridden and unable to work and I felt as though I was alone. Fortunately, I found a good specialist who factored in, not only my lab work, but my symptoms and family history, educated me about my condition and prescribed medications that would either address my symptoms or rule out specific diagnoses. I would under no circumstances recommend Dr. Salvo.
Tammy in billing is the most offensive, rude person. Very unprofessional. They play games with the insurance and I caught them on it.
Dr. Salvo is a great doctor. Smart and caring. I would recommend her if you are looking for a good doctor.
This isn't a review for Dr. Salvo, but rather, for the practice overall. I absolutely adored Dr. Chambliss, however, she is no longer there. Since she left, I have seen Ebright and the nurse practitioner Mary. Mary is probably one of the rudest people I have ever been unfortunate enough to meet. No bedside manner whatsoever. Violated HIPAA by coming out to the waiting room after my appointment to ask me a personal question. I'm still deciding whether or not to bother filing a complaint. Regardless, I'll be leaving the practice and going to Dr. Chambliss' new location.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
