Worst "bedside" manner. After several appointments where I felt lambasted by her, I left her office in visible tears and never went back. Did anyone follow-up with me? Nope. I can't dissuade people strongly enough when considering their endocrinology care.

Went to see Dr Bellantoni and will be seeing her again. She diagnosed my thyroid cancer when every other doctor blamed my fatigue on depression. Ha! All the years I was labeled Dr Bellantoni found the right problem. She is an excellent listener and great chair side manner. Extremely intelligent and personable.

She made a mistake to increase my dose of levothyroxine although I had informed her that I still experienced menstrual irregularities, not because of menopause. Also, I gained weight because of that bigger dose!

I seen her as a new patient recently. She knows her stuff! She took a good amount of time with me which says alot. I didn't wait longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room and once in the room she came in within 5 minutes. The front desk staff was also very friendly. I would highly recommend if you need a specialist.

dr belletoni is an excellent dr.very noedgeable and very patient. i have been seeing her for about 1 yr and she has always had a smile on face and even puts up with my stupitiity in dealing with my diabeties.

I saw Dr. Bellantoni for years. In spite of having obvious symptoms of hypothyroidism, each 6 months, she only ordered TSH w/ reflex (meaning if TSH was off, T4 would be checked). Since my TSH was in the normal range, nothing else was checked. I felt like crap. Went to see another doc who ran a full thyroid panel and my free T4 was quite off. He tweaked the dosage of my meds and I began to feel better almost immediately. I don't understand why Dr. Bellantoni didn't order more thorough blood work when she was well aware of my weight gain, depression, fatigue, mental fuzziness. These are all well documented symptoms of hypothyroidism. She also said that she would endorse surgery if I felt I couldn't stand my goiter any more. She NEVER discussed the risks of the surgery (e.g.: parathyroid impact). Perhaps if I'd said yes, she would have, but why let me think it was a viable option all these years when certainly the risks are not worth it for basically cosmetic surgery.
