List of Matilda Hagan's Reviews
Complete thrash don’t waste your time or money. She is thrash
I found Dr. Hagan to be a very caring and knowledgeable specialist who spends enough time to hear the patient and answer the questions. She follows up with test results and explains medical issues clearly.
I've never had any problems or issues with Dr Hagan, she's always helped me with my issues and problems, so I don't know if it's her or Mercy hospital that is the cause for my bad review and finding a new Dr. I had an appointment at 245pm, they ask you to arrive 30 min early to do any paperwork, but they also say you can register online ahead of time, I did, to save some time. I was running a little late but showed up at exactly 245pm. And they tell me we've canceled your appointment because you didn't show up at 215, I just paid 10$ for an Uber to get me there and you won't see me
Dr. Hagen is awesome and very understanding and takes the time to listen.
Does not respond in a timely manor regarding test results. Says 2 weeks is an acceptable turn around time for results even though they sit on her desk for all but 1 of those days. Bedside manor was very unprofessional and disrespectful. PCP was able to diagnose issue prior to her as she visually overlooked the apparent obvious root cause. Takes awhile to schedule an "urgent" appointment. Front desk is oblivious to her non-responsiveness. I would not recommend.
Front desk receptionist Geraldine has a poor attitude and is not fit for healthcare. Never felt so discouraged after a phone call with a so-called healthcare professional before unfortunately speaking with this woman.
To be clear: Dr. Hagan is phenomenal. I could go on, but nope, this is all you need to know.
She is the best period
Dr Hagan has been taking care of my 93 old Mom for over a yr. She is very kind and knows her stuff.....
Dr Hagan and her assistant, Bami, are the worst when it comes to giving the needed care to patients. I went in for pain and was sent for testing. For pain, I was told to go to the ER if it got to bad and Dr. Hagan just went around in circles when giving instructions on things. When test results came back, I wasn't called; instead I had to call and hunt down someone to give me the results. Bami, the assistant, gave me the results and then was unable to give me the accurate next step procedures. She would continuously say "I think Dr. Hagan said to do this" or "I will need to recheck to see what you should do". I asked for Dr. Hagan to call me to clarify what I needed to do and she NEVER called to clarify what I she wanted me to do after my tests were done. I had to contact another one of my doctors to read my results and continue on with my care. How sad that this GI doctor was so uncaring to not simply return a call and clarify what her assistant couldn't remember. Sad and disrespectful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
