List of MItchell Gutshall's Reviews
I refer anyone I know to Dr. Gutshall. He gets my sense of humor and I feel like he really listens to my concerns. He never rushes my appointment and makes me feel heard.
I will no longer have Mitchell gutshall as my PCP nor my wife, the reason is for that fact he accused my wife of drug seeking behavior for requesting a refill of a prescription from the ER, the only thing that seemed to calm her irregular heart palpitations and heart racing that sent her into panic attacks, he also referred her to a cardiologist despite the slew of cardiologist tests that were done at the ER which revealed a healthy heart and despite my wife explaining to him the theories the ER doctors had, he ignored all of it to send her to a cardiologist again and accuse her of seeking drugs. How do you say that to someone who you've seen for years and never once asked for drugs before, just answers and a way to feel better ,she just wanted the prescription until they could find the issue and correct it so she can still raise our daughter and work! I believe he does not actually listen to his patients and wants to just send you away out of his hair. He is lazy and a Google doctor, and doesn't pay attention to what is said to him. So either it's extreme arrogance or apathy, either way, I no longer have faith in his intellect or ability to help find out what is actually wrong. I find his actions regarding the health of my family despicable.
I and several of my friends see Dr. Gutshall as our primary physician. None of us could be more pleased. He takes time with his patients, explains everything very thoroughly, and is open to all questions. He is also very responsive in terms of making appointments and posting follow-up on My Chart. Couldn't be more pleased.
Logged into Kiosk 4 my 88 year old Mom & signed in 12 min. early at 1:03 for a 1:15PM appt. Waited in main waiting area until 1:45 then asked front desk. No one looked up to say may I help you. When I asked if they could check they never responded verbally, asked again, then just said we are checking. 10 min. later I went back up & asked again if they were going to see my Mom, waited, Girl came & shook her head not even responding. I asked again they said no. Waited 1 hour and wasn't seen.

Dr. Gutshall is our family doctor. We couldn't be more pleased with him! Great communication via MyChart. He goes above and beyond to be sure we are in the best of health. Also, we love the check-in kiosks, so convenient!
I had an excellent experience and plan to continue seeing Gutshall as my primary. As well as refer others.
Awesome Dr. Dr. G as he's called goes all out to c that u get top care. He checks on his patient's making sure they receive the care and can ask any question concerning their care.
Dr. Gutshall is a great Dr. He has helped me become more aware of my health . Best physician I've had.
gutshall has been terminated as my Primary Care Provider. I clicked on one star as you can't proceed without clicking on something. gutshall has been by PCP for approximately four years. After the first couple of encounters I have avoided him scrupulously except in the most extreme situations.. This is because of the degree of care and level of concern that has been exhibited. After a 40 year career in the health care industry which included thousands of interactions with physicians and their patient I know precisely of which I write. Today was one of those extreme situations and the last straw with gutshall. After suffering with some significant symptoms for a week which necessitated a visit to another physician and the Emergency Department I followed up on the ED discharge instructions and called my PCP's office for a follow up. I explained that I was still sick and gave all the details of last week's visit. I requested an urgent appointment and was told I could come in at 1:45. I had to come directly from work but arrived early. and upon checking in realized I did not have my updated payment card. My co-pay is $10.00. Surprisingly I was told she would have to check with gutshall because it was up to him whether or not he would see me. I was totally stunned when she came back and said that he would not. I told her to have him come out and tell me to my face that he would not see me. He would not. I could share so much more insight but, really, need I. If any professional care is provided it is done so selectively. Anyone that would entrust their health and that of their family here would be making a terrible mistake.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
