At 49 years old, I went in for my first routine colonoscopy. My insurance said it was covered. All was fine. Until I got well over $2,000.00 in bills from GBMC & the DR.’s office. Insurance said they coded it wrong. Simply have them re-code & re-submit. I called many, many, many times. Then was told to send a letter. No response, No correction. I started getting letters in the mail that I would be sent to collections. Yet, NO response to my calls & letter. Worried about damaging my credit, I made a small payment online which they turned into a monthly reoccurring payment. This makes me NEVER want to go back to GBMC. I am beyond frustrated and aggravated by this situation, their lack of correspondence & compassion, and their greed.

I have been a patient of his for the last six years. We moved out of state about a year ago and drive 4+ hours when I have an appointment with him. We completely trust him! Would highly recommend Dr. Jani.

Dr jani is one of the best Dr we run into since moving to Baltimore. pleasant, and I’ve see. At least 6 GIs. calm, professional, knowledgvle. even remembered us from our first visit 3 years ago. We just went through an endoscopy and Dr.jani took what had to be 15m at least to explain the results (all good) and answer all the questions. If you can wait for an appointment with Dr. Jani I wouldn’t even try anyone else.

Nice person but LAZY! Throws medications at you, spends maybe 5 minutes with you. Won't write out a script because he sends electronically but certain ones can not be sent electronically. The script has to be faxed and the office has not done it, it has been 5 days including a weekend and I am now sick. Find someone else, he doesn't have the time for you!

From the first tme we met Dr. Jani, he was very friendly with us, and was straightforward with what was wrong with my husband. He had esophageal cancer. Dr. Jani did several surgeries on David, nclduing inserting stents to helps him swallow and eat, and also several biopsies and upper GI tests. I lost my husband to cancer last year, but am continuing on with him as my gastroenterologist, and have recommended some friends to him.
