List of Patrick Maloney's Reviews
Dr. Maloney is very professional and very pleasant. He is very respect and he always has a smile on his face. All of your questions and concern are answered. If I had to have surgery on my left foot I would go to him with no hesitation. I have nothing to say be great things about Dr Maloney he is a wonderful doctor.
Dr. Maloney might be a good surgeon. I wouldn’t know because all I see are his students and NPs, and him for maybe 2 minutes or so. Hence I didn’t bother with follow up. The poor quality care aside, Maloney affiliates himself with a medical supply company called D & J medical. As a result of Maloney’ affiliation with D & J medical I was shaken down for a boot and was threatened to be sent to collections if I did not pay an amount I did not owe. I understand medical supplies are billed separately but if you want to be extorted by D & J medical and be overcharged (per my EOB) and be met with threats, go to Maloney. Just read reviews for D & J, you will find I’m not their only victim. It really reflects badly on a doctor when they don’t look out for their patients. I can’t help but wonder if Maloney has a financial stake in this company. Can’t imagine any other reason to deal with D & J. I’d recommend finding another surgeon.
Dr. Maloney is amazing! He is a gifted surgeon and kind provider. He operated on my ankle and it’s been life changing. I literally had moments when I could hardly walk. As a nurse, walking is a huge part of my job. 😊 I am thankful for him and pray continued blessings over his practice.
I had a ruptured Achilles that I had left untreated for 2 months. After seeing 1 doctor who told me “they don’t do surgery for people your age (55),” my GP recommended Dr. Maloney. After a very thorough exam, he recommended surgery, fully explaining why he recommended it over treatment with a boot. I had a prior bad experience with another surgeon and was extremely reticent to have surgery. Dr. Maloney sensed this and took the extra time to fully address my fears and concerns and explain the surgery and probable recovery time. I am now 6 months post-op with full function and no pain and I couldn’t be happier. The fact that Dr. Maloney took the time to address my concerns and fears, as well as his pure talent as a surgeon, have me highly recommending him to anyone.
I have a long history of ankle injuries and in March 2021 I pretty much mutilated what was left of the tendons and ligaments of my ankle. I went to a local doctor in Delaware and when I learned I needed surgery I decided to do a deep search for great ankle/foot surgeons. I never expected my high expectations to be met let alone exceeded. Deciding to have Dr Maloney perform my surgery is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From my first appointment to my last over a year later and Dr. Maloney and his staff have been nothing short of phenomenal. The morning of my surgery I expected to feel a lot of anxiety, the nurses and staff didn’t even give me a chance. They were SO kind, assuring, and supportive and truly made me feel at ease from the minute I walked in the door. My surgery went great and I can do everything I couldn’t before. My ankle healed beautifully and I’m back to hiking 15-20 miles at a time and biking up to 25 miles at a time with no pain or discomfort. It has been just under a year from my surgery date and I cant recommend Dr. Maloney enough. I’m hoping my other ankle holds up for life but if not - I know exactly who I’ll be going to.
Dr. Maloney repaired a ruptured Achilles tendon about a year ago. The surgery went well and the follow up with him has been great. The doctor and the staff take the time to listen and respond to my questions. And, his office runs like clockwork. All of my appointments have been on time if not a bit early. I think that shows the respect Dr. Maloney, the nurses and assistants show their patients. Excellent doctor at an excellent hospital.
Patrick Maloney operated on my foot a few years back. I broke my toe on my opposite foot and went back to him. He instantly remembered me and looked into my other foot to see how it was holding up. Patrick took the time to explain the care and direction he was looking to take. I felt like a person in the whole process.
I have been going to Dr Maloney for several years now for multiple issues with my right foot, due in part, I think, to a bad decision that I made to have another doctor do a bunionectomy on that foot. He is great! Always takes time to listen to your concerns, review options and lets you, the patient, make the decision regarding treatment.
I went to Dr Maloney after my local orthopedic foot doctor basically dismissed my problem. Dr Maloney looked at the xrays and listened to my complaints and diagnosed my problem. He gave me some inserts for my shoes, offered to make custom orthotics if it didn't work. Dr Maloney is an incredibly nice person plus he fixed my problem. I am back to doing all of my normal activities.
Dr Maloney reconstructed my foot when no one else would help me. For years I walked every step in horrible pain from 4 metatarsals being shattered. I can't thank him enough for what he has done for me! Great surgeon!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
