List of Powell Recovery Center's Reviews
I've been a client here more than once. Most people would disagree withe the amount of freedom you get as soon as you come in. Well, if you truly want to recover and are sick and tired of being sick and tired- you'll be ok with having your phone, cigarettes and money. For the first 30-60 days( blackout) you are in substance abuse class from 9-4. After you've completed black out, you find yourself a job and your in class 9am-12 & have a curfew of 10pm. I graduated.
Was at powell twice and both times was an amazing program. Powell is very clean and they house you, feed you, and give you all the tools so you never have to use again. Counselors and staff speak and help from their hearts and can relate to patients.
Powell is a pretty decent place..I think its ran pretty well..the house managers do a pretty good job..Keith the house mgr, big dude with dreads and tats is a good dude .Powell definitely wants the best for the clients..When you go in here, remember you came here for yourself, not to make friends or enemies..Your here for "your" recovery..I would recommend this place..best of luck to your recovery..
Over here you can't recover and get your mind right
Very good program but they're human justLike everyone else so do what u have to do and they'll do their part it's a process Good Luck😄
Powell is like any other program you get what you put in to it they provide everything you need to be successful my experience as been good in every way possible they have great insight on addiction and mental health I have read a lot of bad reviews me personally I don't see it Powell as been nothing but good to me and my needs to be successful in this process like I said earlier you get out what you put in to it
I love this recovery home because the staff is easy to get along with I eat good everyday and my medication comes on time and I am learning to love myself and learning more about my recovery so that I can be more established in life outside of recovery. I recommend this place to anyone that asks.
Powell has been a big help for my family.
The staff is very rude, they don't feed you. I've been here for three days and they've only fed me once. The reason this place is running is because of the clients who come here for help. Our insurance is paying for everything even their salary. No food, no pillows, no towels no wash rags. You have to supply your own food. What if people didnt have any money??? They would probably starve. I asked for a food bag and they said wait till Monday. Mind you its saturday!!! They suppose to give you a rule book and haven't so your basically just going with the flow. Not knowing what you can and cannot do. We wake up at 4:15am in the morning and dont have to be at group till 9am. I'm going to report this place to the head board and if they put me out I will have a law suit against them. We are paying for this, this isn't free!!!!
Provided everything I needed. Whole mix of clients. Some serious, some not. Keeps you focused on yourself, because distractions. They give you enough rope to hang yourself so you gotta be serious and want recovery. Lots of open free space but you can find drugs right down the street. Like I said if u are serious about getting clean it's a good program.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
