List of Shannon C. Webb's Reviews
I used to like Dr. Webb until I had to start going to a different doctor for insurance reasons and then I realized how bad he really is. He has a very warm personality and is likable. He isn't as knowledgeable as most family doctors and will check out if your case has any amount of complexity. He also has this odd tendency to force you to come in and pay for a visit to get refills or fill out papers. He would only fill out the papers for a temporary handicap placard so I had to pay for a full visit each year or whatever it was to get it renewed. It didn't take long for my new doctor to fill out the papers for a permanent placard. I was not happy with his service at the time, but I thought that was just the state of things. I was wrong. There are better doctors almost anywhere.
Most excellent. Dr. Webb and his staff are courteous and caring. He may be a little strict on meds but with reason, and within reason. He gives you as a patient any time you need and follows up with all online inquests very promptly. If you need a specialist he will honestly say so and will find you the right specialist. I trust him implicitly.
Best doctor I've been to since moving here. I will travel with him wherever he goes! Very down to earth with a great attitude!
Dr. Webb seems genuinely interested in your health, with a warm handshake and smile. Do not be fooled if you have a hard diagnosis he will dismiss you as a patient. Also makes you pay to get your medication refills, for me being disabled every penny counts why do you have to pay for meds that you can not live without.
Dr. Webb is fantastic! He is very in tune with his patients; he listens, never rushes, keeps up with all of my medication at every visit, and goes the extra mile to help. I have Crohn’s and some of the issues that come with it are complicated. Dr. Webb works very hard to help me. The staff is professional and thorough and I’ve always been treated with kindness and respect.
Been going to Skyland medical center since Dr Webb started, befor he was there was denied being seen today by dr.Ncgocuien Nguyen,She has only been there but less less than a year she has been corrupted by Dr Webb.I refuse to see him for a good for a reason. But if u don't see him it looks bad towards the whole office.I don't have to say on here his reviews say it all and when u go to see a dr at 3:30 in the afternoon and the lot is empty, well dr Shannon Webb ur doing it all urself.I say no more.;Good luck
I have been a patient at Skylyn Medical for over 15 years. Since the GHS buyout the practice has gone downhill. It's hard enough loosing your primary physician that knew your children and reasons your struggling. Since DrWebb has come on board it's awful. He doesn't seem to care about me personally and disregards statements if your making it up. Prescriptions run out before next appointment...staff is terrible. Looking for a new primary at 54.......feeling frustrated.
He and his staff are Kind, caring, and understanding.
Dr. Webb has always taken his time during my appointments to listen to me and discuss treatment options. He is up to date on the latest treatments and is always very professional. HOWEVER---Since his move from Roebuck Family Practice to Skylyn Medical Associates, it has become hard to keep up with prescription refills, test results, etc. No longer is the wonderful Patient Portal in use, and the staff at SMA is not friendly on the phone. I miss the family feel of RFP where they know me.
Dr. Webb and GHS may be able to salvage this practice, but it went a long time without a physician--couldn't even keep a NP. Provided little or no information to former patients about turnover and future scheduling. Many of us were forced to find other physicians very quickly. The practice seemed more interested in retaining patients than addressing their illnesses.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
