List of National Spine & Pain Centers Bel Air's Reviews
They would not even allow me to schedule an appointment. I suffer with depression, anxiety and PTSD and they told me I would have to give up my mental health treatment in order to receive pain management treatment from their office.
National spine and pain has gone downhill their nurse practitioners. Do not care about their patients just to get them in and out. It’s like talking to the wall. I’ve gone to them for 15 years and they have just gone downhill in my opinion. Search other places before you make your decision.
Great staff and great people overall. Mariah is an AMAZING WOMAN. I look forward to coming in with my Grandmother just to see her. Her personality is out of this world!!! She’s always very well mannered, polite, respectful, and just PHENOMENAL. Every medical office needs someone like her in it. I never leave reviews but I had to this time!! Mariah brightens up my Grandmother & I day every single time.
Front desk girls are very sweet and helpful. Your office is clean.
Dr. Burchell and his staff are great. He and his PA Maria Wilson are doctors that possesses the right combination of qualities that ensure compassionate, competent, and effective medical care. I highly recommend them.
Have been coming here for years and everyone has always been so helpful. The doctors have always been so professional and always take the time to answer all of my questions. The staff is so nice.
Excellent care, friendly staff, appts are always on time! I transferred from NSPC in northern VA, seamless transition.
Every office visit here with my aunt always goes well. Mariah is very sweet, welcoming, and so respectful. She’s always smiling, laughing and greeting. NSPC Bel Air overall is a great pain management center. I will always recommend this place to anyone who’s seeking help with pain.
Last week I went to my monthly appointment. My experience with national spine and pain they tried their best to get my prescriptions fill. Many of us who have been under pain management for decades are finding medications are unavailable which puts stress on patients..they did work with me after me finding a pharmacy who would fill them Walgreens in Aberdeen is horrible and very unfriendly. I did have the office manager go ahead and find a Dr willing to fill it since my provider is out on vacation and as always my luck is always bad. I told them at national spine and pain they should have a office pharmacy that way they know what meds are being filled and how often but they declined to offer this service because they say it's to expensive. But would make things so much better for their patients. The Trump world we live in is HELL . Since it's going to get worse for those of us who follow the rules and protocols . These pharmacies should keep enough on hand for their regular patients like myself and others. I am frightened that although my insurance pays for appointments but if you cannot get your monthly meds you may as well find other alternatives I can see why people give up because we are always at the end of the shit stick. The office manager followed through with what she promised but doubt if this happens again doubt anything can or will be done. They say it's out of their hands but my insurance pays for visits and they are paid well but if you cannot get your meds your screwed. Also my ever leave the office with out a paper prescription cause if they forget or don't tell you why they didn't fill your prescription your at the mercy if they do the right thing. Plus running up and down the highway to get things figured out they just don't care how many miles and waste of gas wear and tare on your car. I wish I lived in another country because because living here in this corrupt country is a nightmare only to get worse. But I must say the office manager kept her promise.
I had a terrible experience with this pain management center. Doctor did not listen to me at all. I had a horseback riding incident, my fault for adding towards the end that I've been quite uncomfortable around my lower back hip area since giving birth. He just took that last part to sell me their in house shots. The doctor never touched my back, legs or let me do any of the stretches to get to the bottom of the problem. Not even considered imaging. Needless to say the shots didn't make anything better. They proceeded to suggest more shots during the follow up, which I declined. Then they referred me for an MRI. My insurance declined. After months of PT I've tried again and my insurance declined again. I gave up for about a year until my husband urged me to get a second opinion. Once I retrieved my records from this center I realized what the issue was very quick. The doctor didn't acknowledge the horseback riding incident at all!!! He treated me for issues I didn't have, just for their own benefit. My second opinion got the MRI approved immediately and the necessary surgery shortly after. Avoid this place at all cost!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
