I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Cleary. He and his staff have been awesome throughout my prostate cancer journey. Him and his staff are very professional and answered any questions that I had throughout this. I highly recommend him.

I was fortunate to have Dr. Cleary perform my Robotic Surgery. He clearly explained the procedure, the recovery and alternative options. The surgery was a complete success, minimally invasive with a short recovery time. I can't say enough good things about my experience with him and the nurses and staff at Chesapeake Urology.

I was introduced to Dr. Cleary at Chesapeake Urology to discuss surgical options to address a structural issue with my Kidney. Dr. Cleary outlines various options, and the decision was made to perform Pyeloplasty Robotic Surgery. Dr. Cleary’s skill with this medical technology is amazing, and the surgery was a complete success. The procedure was minimally invasive, and I experienced very limited discomfort. I returned to work one day after being released from the Hospital. In six weeks, I had fully recovered and was able return to all my normal activities, which included completing a ½ marathon. I would recommend Dr. Cleary to anyone in need of Urologic Surgery. In addition, all the nurses and staff at Chesapeake Urology were very helpful and professional. The Patient Portal is easy to navigate and a quick way to access records, schedule appointments or communicate with the Physicians.

Dr. Cleary performed a Radical Proctectomy after my Prostate Cancer diagnosis. He is a true professional in every sense of the word. He spent as much time as we needed with each of our meetings with him. The procedure he performed went so well that I was walking the halls of the hospital that afternoon. I have found that the recovery and results have a complete success I would truly recommend to anyone for him to be your Surgeon for any procedure you need performed!!

I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma stage II. Dr Cleary saw me ASAP, and performed the removal of the mass laparoscopically w/ robotic assistance. The surgery, and healing, went nothing short of perfect. Besides for that, he’s down-to-earth, discusses all options available, and truly wants the best for his patients. He’s incredibly transparent in communication, and will always get back to you should you need his advice or assistance.

Dr. Cleary removed my prostate due to a cancer diagnosis. Prior to me making the decision to have surgery, he took his time to explain the pros and cons of surgery and thoroughly answered all of my questions.He saw me the morning of the surgery and again explained the surgery to be performed and answered any questions I had. He followed up with me after surgery as well as the next day. Something I was not accustomed to based on prior surgeries I've had.I had my initial post surgical visit a couple of weeks after surgery. He was again very thorough in reviewing what to expect in the coming weeks during my recovery.Obviously, there is not enough good I can say about Dr. Cleary.

My father was diagnosed with cancer and Dr. Cleary was excellent throughout the whole experience. My father says he never felt better after a successful surgery with great results. I was diagnosed at the age of 48 with kidney cancer. Dr. Cleary has been compassionate, has been timely with all appointments, and has shown absolute professionalism throughout my care. He takes time to answer all my questions/address any concerns I have. I feel very fortunate to have been put into his hands when my diagnosis was discovered.
