I delayed treatment for BPH several years, visited Dr K (after having Hartmann procedure 10/2021 at 71 yo due to diverticulitis) due to potential for even more severe urinary condition/ symptoms if left untreated. He didn't mess around & gave me options clearly explaining each one. After one more office visit, PVP Greenlight outpatient procedure was scheduled & done successfully Dec 2021. Problems after procedure were minimal, just as explained. After 14 months, I'll say the procedure has definitely returned my urinary habits effectively back to normal, & that's a wonderful experience after several years of urinary misery. Many thanks to Dr Kausik & all staff for a great job.

I'm 63 and have had a lot of doctor's visits, and I can say doctor Kausik was very good, from the initial office visit exam to the prostate biopsy to the follow up visit. Doctor Kausik explained everything in easy-to-understand language, was strait forward, clear and did not waste any time. I will strongly recommend him to anyone who asks for my opinion.

I was let down greatly by Dr. Kausik and his team at Chesepeake Urology. The poor response time was one thing, but for a doctor to be so incorrect about my condition, it just leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. I felt my symptoms were severely minimized and overlooked by Dr. Kausik, and was personally blamed on more than one occasion for my symptoms. Unfortunately for me, this lapse in judgement will have lasting effects on my life. DO NOT RECOMMEND. BE WARNED

I was the first person in Maryland to have the iTind performed. It was done in his office surgery suit. The risk is very minimal, and the advantage is great. I no longer need to get up in the middle of the night some nights as much as 6 times. I can now void my bladder and am no longer bothered by the constant feeling that I need to use the toilet, which cause problems when you are working. There was some discomfort but for the discomfort I did experience it was worth it. I’m happy with my choice and think this treatment is worth looking into.

Was completely let down by Dr Kausik and his team at Chesapeake Urology. I did not think it could be possible for a doctor to be wrong about so many things when it come to my condition and prognosis.

Blood in my urine led me to Dr. Kausik. I had a very large kidney stone that ultimately required two laser procedures back to back to remedy. Dr. Kausik was very professional and caring throughout my whole ordeal. His knowledge and experience in Urology made me feel comfortable and safe. I will definitely see him as the need arises.

Dr. Kausik recommended GreenLight Laser Therapy treatment for my Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). The out patient procedure allowed me to return home and begin the recovery process within hours. The results of the GreenLight Laser Therapy were a reduced feeling of the need to urinate, a decrease number of trips to the bathroom, and a deeper nights sleep. I now have the confidence to live an active lifestyle without planning actives around the availability and locations of a men's room. I recommended Dr. Kausik to my neighbor who was experiencing the same symptoms that I had been enduring for years.

Successfully treated for an enlarged prostate. I appreciate Dr. Kausik is both professional and direct - clearing stating the issue, options for treatment and his recommended treatment based upon my age and overall health. I agreed with his recommendation and am pleased with the outcome.

Two years ago, I was dealing with reduced urine flow and unable to empty my bladder completely causing frequent urination. Dr. Kausik evaluated my condition and provided me with all of the available options- medications, green laser surgery and the Urolift procedure. He listened to my concerns and explained all the options completely to help me make the best choice for me. I opted for Urolift, which he performed. I have been very pleased with the results and with the excellent care given to me by Dr. Kausik. I have just had my second and final yearly follow up and I'm happy to share my experience!
