My son came home from school with a fever and complaints of extreme ear pain. He’s a kid that never gets sick, so I knew he had to be seen. His pediatrician could not get him in for a same day sick visit. I took him to the MedStar Belcamp location in hopes to get him some relief. From the front desk staff, to the triage nurse, to the NP who examined him was some of the best care we’ve ever received. They were all extremely kind, caring, and had us in and out quickly and sent his prescription for antibiotics to the closest pharmacy so we could get it on board as soon as possible. Im so very grateful for their prompt and helpful services! I know that any time I can’t get in with our typical physicians, I will be coming here!

I presented to Urgent Care with a laceration on my thumb. When I got there, I was 11th in line but because of my injury I didn’t wait long. They got me back, stitched up, and out within about an hour or so. The NP I saw was great. He was friendly and informative. Despite my injury, it was as good a visit as it could be.

I’m only giving 2 stars because of the front desk lady and triage lady. My 2 year old needed to be seen, waited 30 minutes after my reservation time to go back, which honestly isn’t a big deal. I’m cool with that. My problem is that it is now almost an hour later, they close in a half hour and they have yet to come in to talk to us about test results or anything. My poor son is being a trooper but he’s honestly ready to go home and go to bed. I don’t think I’ll ever come back here again. Update: she finally came to tell us there’s nothing wrong with him. Even his ear that he constantly gets infections in is apparently fine all of a sudden. Never again.

Don’t waste your time. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a supposed medical “professional” who spent two minutes with me and literally told me there was nothing wrong with me. I had a reservation for 5:20pm and was finally seen at 6:40. I understand they were busy but Shannon, the nurse practitioner, couldn’t have been more unprofessional if she was trying.
