Oh, how the mighty have fallen...I don't know what happened frankly. I just left him a 5-star review in March and now? Wow. He no longer has a good availability. He's now down to 2 days a week and even then there is no guarantee. You make an appointment and then run the risk of getting a call from the office that he's decided to change his schedule and you now have to be rebooked. With his limited availability, it can be sketchy getting in.I only see him for about 4 appointments once a year. If I'm calling and making an appointment then that means I'm in pain. I don't need to be jostled around. I need to be seen.As it stands now I've found someone in Salisbury to do the same thing and I can get in with no problems. So, sorry Dr. Hooker. It's not me love, it's you.

I've been seeing Michael Sean Hooker, MD since 2019 and ongoing. Typically, I fire physicians (did you know that you could do that?) within a year. I give everyone a fair shot at finding their footing with me and my health issues. After a while, I get tired of talking and not seeing results so I bounce them and find someone new.With that being said, Dr. Hooker is the best thing since sliced bread as the old saying goes. He listens. He cares. He truly loves his patients and his job. No cranky days. No bad attitudes. And most of his staff (because there always has to be that ONE wherever you go) are a true pleasure. He even shoots the breeze with you while he's giving you injections so it's more tolerable.A real doll and a great physician. I wouldn't trade him or his staff for the world!

Very responsive surgeon. Waited one night til 7:30 to do my surgery rather than make me wait another day. Very considerate man. Skilled and very thorough. Recommend him highly.

I first met Dr. Hooker nearly a decade ago at Riverside. I had a femur break where another great Doctor repaired it but the hospital assigned me to another doctor for follow up. That doctor promised me that I was healing up just fine for almost 2 months. I finally questioned him based on my own observations and was immediately turned over to Dr. Hooker who immediately recognized that I had a delayed union and another surgery was needed to resolve the issue. Dr. Hooker is a very straightforward person who tells you exactly what needs to be done in his expert opinion. I'm thankful for that because I healed up great within a few additional months. This year I needed medical attention for my other leg where I tore a meniscus and experienced a variety of pain and limitations. I traveled nearly 200 miles to Berlin, MD to have Dr. Hooker repair it. He recognized another issue while I underwent that surgery and was in need of a total knee replacement. He recommended I wait a few months to proceed. Just a week ago I traveled to him again to have my total knee replacement and was able to walk unassisted out of the hospital that same day. He provided detailed information and educated me on what to expect every moment of the process so there were no surprises such as after a few days of great progress, great pain would set in but finally subside and explanations of what other unusual developments may occur during the healing process. He provided detailed information to me so nothing would catch me off guard. His passion and attention to detail coupled with his impeccable ability to relate to his patients is beyond measure. He communicates with me in a way that I can understand and feel comfortable that everything would be fine. Thank you Dr. Hooker for your skills, great customer service and treating patients like people whom you sincerely care about. This is what customer service and taking care of people is all about! Bravo Zulu!!!

I LOVE THIS GUY!!! COVID hair and all!!! He's very patient, sweet, kind, and really cares about his patients!! I left "that other place" across from him due to poor customer service. Good care is Job 1 but Good Customer Service is a close second. He and his team balance both extremely well. <3
