List of Ann M. Lindgren's Reviews
I have been a patient of Dr. Lindgren for more than 20 years. She is and always has been wonderful. She listens and answers all questions without judgement. She knows her field and is exceptionally competent. She is super nice, totally understanding and never makes you feel bad. In fact she always makes me feel better. She will consider all suggestions a patient makes. I only wish I could have her do all my doctoring.
She lied to my face when I asked her about a medication and whether it had a certain side effect or not. Either that or she didn’t know one of the most common side effects of the medicine... would not recommend. She’s awful.
I arrived at the appointment on time and then had to wait for one hour for about a quick five minute body check with Dr. Lingren. It was very cursory. I asked whether the office was busy and she said no. The staff also isn't very good. After my experience, I decided to change dermatologists. I contacted the main office (the only way to go unfortunately) and was told that I needed to sign a form at Lindgren's office and my medical records would be printed out for me. I went, signed, and was told that the records would be mailed and I should get them in about one week. Three weeks later, I'm still waiting.
The staff answering the phone is very rude and unhelpful. Could not even make an appointment due to the phone clerk's unprofessional behavior.
Dr. Lindgren approached me with warmth and reassurance, giving feedback about each 'thing' she found on my bodily check. She offered choices about how to treat basil cell with thorough explanation about how the process would work and the expected outcome - how it would look after healing as well as success of procedure.
Our family has been using Dr. Lindgren for a number of years and includes physicians. We've found Dr. Lindgren to be clinically knowledgeable and competent. The front desk staff of Bethesda Dematologists, however, leave something to be desired. They are not very responsive or helpful.
Fortunately I haven’t experienced some of the long wait times as others and while Dr Lindgren is quick, she is very knowledgeable and answers all questions thoughtfully. She’s helped me with three issues very successfully including a bad case of eczema. I would recommend her services.
Dr. Lindgren was recommended to be about 5 years ago. I went to one appointment with her. I've had four skin cancers so I go once a year to a dermatologist. She appeared to have no interest in me or dermatology whatsoever. Five years go by and I had a small cosmetic procedure done and that doctors asked what dermatologist I went to. I told him and he said you should go to Ann Lindgren. So I tried her once more thinking maybe she just had a bad day on the previous visit. Not so. She was just as surly as the previous visit. She didn't even check my scalp, barely looked at the rest of me, then handed me a pamphlet showing skin cancers and said you can use this. I've had 4 and know what they look like. If I was as unhappy in my job as she appears to be in hers, I would be grateful if someone suggested that I get a different career. She needs to.
Dr. Lindgren has been our family Dermatologist for over 20 years. She is a professional who prides herself in understanding your issue. She explains what is wrong and her plan to fix the issue. Our family has had wonderful experiences with Dr. Lindgren. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a Dermatologist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
