Went to her for a "complete physical", and it was the briefest and most unprofessional physical I have ever received. My medical concerns were not addressed at all, and the appointment mostly consisted of tapping every one of my joints with a reflex hammer.

Dr. Carolyn Hammett did not take a few minutes to collect information but interrupted several times, was rude, dismissive and seemingly unconcerned. She quickly said all she could not do with no help eventhough I was in the midst of a major challenge. My husband & I visited with Dr Hammett because my main dr was on vaca. I was going thru great discomfort for several weeks due to cancer & was told by insurance that I could get help but should go through my primary. Within 60 seconds of my visit & trying to explain my situation I was cut off and told the insurance company doesnt cover home healthcare and she could not help me. I was taken aback. My husband tried to explain and ask questions at which she cut him off and said that I had to speak for myself even though he was taking care of everything. I ended the visit after 5 min so a very poor visit would not get worse. We ended up going to our oncologist who processed everything. The misinformation she provided is concerning.

What a wonderful, wonderful woman!!! Dr. Hammett is very kind, compassionate and patient. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, I would give her a 10+. If you are scared of doctors, I highly recommend you select Dr. Hammett as your physician. She will make you feel at ease and comfortable!

Dr. Hammett treated me like a person and not a budget number. She put her entire focus on treating me and I did not feel like I was being juggled around. Will always be her patient.
