I have lived with daily pain in my neck for several years (following a cervical disc replacement) and have seen several doctors hoping someone could do something. One doctor recently told me I needed 2 discs fused, for which I was doubtful. So then I go see Dr.Feuchtbaum, who came in very hurried/rushed, was totally inattentive/distracted and completely dismissive. He had an attitude such that it seemed he couldn't even understand why I was in his office wasting his time. He looked at my xrays and told me there was nothing he could do for me. So basically, he's telling me that at 52, I'll just have to live with this lifelong pain and said it without any care or concern. Like too bad for you...

Took me on time, very short wait in reception area and examining room. Efficient, cordial, and professional. Left with all my questions answered and feeling prepared for the upcoming procedure.

Dr. Feuchtbaum spent just five minutes with me. He seemed to be in a hurry as soon as he realized I was not going to require surgery. He didn't seem particularly interested in my questions and answered them in a rush. The rest of the staff at the office were efficient and nice. I'm not thinking of seeing him again...

Dr Eric Feuchtbaum is an amazing Doctor. He is one in a million. Surgically he is very talented, but he also has an amazing bedside manner. He truly cares about his patients and their well being. Dr Feuchtbaum performed surgery on my neck in January 2000. I was in extreme pain prior to surgery. I have had no pain since I woke up from the anesthesia.The first time I met Dr Feuchtbaum, he gave me his direct email. He is happy to answer questions and wants you to feel comfortable with any procedure that he does. He was very direct and offered me multiple options.The day after discharge, Dr Feuchtbaum personally called me at home to check on me. I highly recommend you see Dr Feuchtbaum at Ortho Bethesda if you have spine issues.
