My primary care recommended Dr. Giocochea. Doc is either too busy or has poor, unprofessional staff. I have LEFT several messages to try to get an appointment. I rather think NOT!!!! No one returns the call and I don't want my PPO paying for a doctor who is unresponsive. Never mind the call. How's that for a rating?!?

Poor bedside manner. Doctor continued to reference my upper leg after repeatedly correcting him that the issue was in my foot. Dismissive.

I absolutely love the bedside manner and professionalism of Dr. Goicochea and his wonderful staff! I also genuinely appreciate his awareness and up-to-date knowledge regarding his specialty and other specialties! Wonderful Dr!

Amazing doctor. Knowledgeable and caring. I had 2 surgeries with him. He is super professional. Recovery time was quick and scaring minimal.

One of the most attentive doctors I've ever met! He kept me very calm during my consultation as i had a lot of concerns which he took the time to thoroughly go through everything i needed answered. He by far is world-class best in practice and show cases his attention to detail and my exam and had a nice, polite bedside manner. I highly recommend him if you need a general surgeon! I've had several surgeries in the past and my experience with him exceeded my expectations!

Dr. Goicichea is an excellent surgeon. His caring Nature haved my life twice! First I had 4th degree Thyroid cancer. He had to remove my entire thyroid. I went to Africa 2 weeks after the operation to produce the MT Kilimanjaro Marathon. I had no scare On my throat. To this day I have no scare. Then I had Breast cancer, again 4 degree, but also involved my Skin , and arm. It was very serious. Five years have Gone by and I am fine. I am 82 years old and still working and traveling, thanks to Dr Goicichea!

Dr. Goicochea was intent on pushed his agenda for surgery even though my thyroid was benign. He seemed to have 1 agenda instead of listening to my preference to wait and retest. He attitude was misogynist and he talked to me like a child. After a second opinion, I was told indeed surgery was not protocol in my situation and it was best to wait.
