The receptionist teams they are unbelievable, bad . When you want appointment they act like you must beg them for appointment and you have to accept they chose dr for you and so many time they change dr for you They are poor unbelievable, rude
I had a very productive visit with Dr. Harry Bigham at his Bethesda office. However, a critical part of my referral was missing and every time I tried to reach his office, (6 different times), it was "we are experiencing a large number of calls", and I never did get through! Needless to say, this is very frustrating.
1 had xray from my heart 2020 .I went through a prsiger .but there was not anything wrong on my heart.medicare paid them .I paid almost $900.00 from my little social security salary. Now I have problem to get my medication on time for several months .my pharmacy tried so hard to get intouch with Bethsda office .today is 5 days I do not have my daily medication .after several calls from my pharmacy as well as by myself. When I called after 25 minutes somebody answered to me today .I asked I have been your patients for the last 25 years can I talk to manager on duty .simply said we will call you back .I am still waiting for their call .
I can’t rate the medical care yet but what an *incredible* support staff. I brought my dad who has Alzheimer’s & there was an ‘incident’ and EVERYONE from the schedulers to the nurses to the office manager was kind, helpful & patient. Completely above & beyond. Thank you
Carolyn Man-Yu Wu, MD I saw the doctor for a total of 1-2 minutes. Every time I asked a question she would have to look back at her screen because obviously she had not pre read any information. Her diagnostics after 2 months was “looks good” she never cared to explain anything. The nurse that did an EKG was in the worst mood possible and yelled at me requesting to only answer yes or no to her questions. The front desk was polite but I honestly had to switch locations after my first experience there.
Great team of medical professionals. Building is accessible. The sidewalks outside - not all of them are wheelchair friendly. This office is efficient and clean, and the medical team is caring and competent.
John's Hopkins Community Physician's Heart-care is an office dedicated to those who have heart issues. There are many cardiologists who take excellent care of their patients. I use Dr. Kumkumian. He is talented, caring, and an excellent cardiologist. I have been a patient for many years. I have always received wonderful care. I have come on time for my appointment and have been taken in back within 5 minutes. The quality of care is high and they have caring nurses who do your triage; check medications, take blood pressure, and do EKG's. The only issue I have had is trying to get through on the phone. There is a challenge in reaching the office by phone. I want to personally thank Isha, who greeted me with a warm smile and got me checked in quickly and efficiently. She also caught an error in scheduling on my next appointment and corrected it with ease. Applause, Isha and thanks again. Also, I have great admiration and respect for Dr. Kumkumian! He is an expert in his field and has such a caring bedside manner. He is the best. I recommend this office. John's Hopkins Hospital has some of the highest accreditation ratings in the hospital community. You can feel safe and in good hands, when you are treated here.
The front desk staff, for the most part, is terrible, poorly trained, and rude at best. They yelled at us to get out and wait outside when we stepping into the office even when there are plenty of seats to sit down and wait inside. They don't care that my dad was on a walker and had trouble to walk. They said we have to go through the Covid-19 screening before entering the room, but there is nobody outside doing that, and there is no sign of anything saying that. If these are the people that are the face of the organization, they could use a face lift. The doctors and the rest of the staff seem to be okay.
Dr. Harry Bigham is the best doctor I have ever seen.I feel so luck to have his as my cardiologist. He is extremely knowledgable and understands fully the needs of the patients. He avoids unnecessary medication. He treats patients like family members and gives sincered advices. He takes time to listen and explain. He exudes confidence and is extremely pleasant. He has all it takes to be a superb doctor. Ishrat Husain
I am fortunate to be able to see Dr Bigham and nurse Judy Potter. They are the best two-some in the medical business. I cannot believe anyone would defend former physician Sammy G. My mom was in the business over 40 years and could tell he was not up to snuff. I have been going for over 13 years and have always had an excellent experience. I also visited Dr. Dao one time when Dr. B was out and he was good. He got on my case like he should have. I need a doctor who knows what s/he's doing, not someone to talk nice to me- though I have a great time with Dr. B and Judy.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
