I saw Dr Sastry when I developed shadows in my one eye. His exam was very thorough. He explained to me in layman’s terminology what he saw and what I could do. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a Retinal Specialist.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr.Sastry for over 12 years. My husband lost the sight in his left eye due to diabetes. Recently, he lost most of the vision in his right eye due to bleeding behind the eye from taking blood thinners and bumping his head…also straining while lifting heavy equipment. After non surgical treatments were not fixing this serious eye problem, Dr. Sastry did surgery to clean out the debris that had accumulated. We and our family are so thankful to him that the surgery has restored some of my husbands sight, and more may happen as the eye recuperates from the surgery. Dr. Sastry is our ‘hero!”

What a lovely doctor! Just had my first appointment with Dr Sastry this morning and I must say he's one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. His manner is exceptional and he explained everything so well and made me feel comfortable with the procedure for testing my eyes. The reception staff were also pleasant and I was seen very quickly. Will definitely use this service again in the future.

Dr. Sastry accommodated our need to discuss a diagnosis and course of treatment we received in our home state - we contacted him due to his outstanding reputation for excellence. He took the time to explain what the diagnosis was and what the course of treatment- follow up would be. His ability to explain in terms we could understand was exceptional. After my ER visit for vision issues & before I was discharged, Dr. Leonard referred me to Dr. Sastry, for tests that couldn't be done in the ER.Not only did the ER staff caring for me make my appointment, they offered me transportation.Upon walking into the office that was modernized & decorated in every sense of a contemporary medical office's waiting room should be, it was. The Patient Care Representatives behind the counter welcomed me & stated they were expecting me. My insurance was already processed & the wait time was 5 minuets or less. Dr. Sastry came out, introduced himself & personally escorted me to the exam room, which exuded a soothing atmosphere...the dim lights was the perfect balance. Dr. Sastry's kindred approach, explanations as he examined me & overall care was high standard.  Although he's an Ophthalmology Specialist, his practice welcomes regular eye exams & services.As Dr. Sasrty stated, my blurred vision subsided within a few days from after "seeing" him.I'm beyond grateful for being extended the wonderful patient care service in its entirety & back to enjoying my visual acuity of 20/20.
