Dr. Bhattacharya came to see me in the hospital following a serious car accident for which I required his surgical expertise. I was more than fortunate to have Dr. B. as my surgeon. In fact, I credit him completely with my ability to walk almost normally 6 mos after my traumatic experience. As a result of the accident, I had lost some inches in my leg. Through surgery, I am able to walk without a limp, and there is no difference in leg length. I attribute that to the surgeon and surgical team’s exacting attention to ensuring that my legs measured as close to same length as possible. Based on my present ability, and the trajectory of my recovery, I expect to regain full recovery of my left leg. I cannot express enough my gratitude to Dr. B. and Ortho Bethesda for the treatment I experienced in their able hands. I appreciate Dr. Bhattacharya’s professionalism as well as his often friendly and always encouraging bedside manner. Thanks to the team for my continued progress.

Basically great. Four-and-a-half stars. Slightly rushed. Ideally, he would have given more practical advice, such as how much to use crutches, exercise and ice. Leaving all those questions to the still-unscheduled PT is inefficient.

Bhattacharyya performed an open reduction internal fixation on my right tibia plateau. He seemed very experienced and although at times seemed like he didn't have a lot of time for me, he did an excellent job on the surgery. Maybe could use a touch more patience with patients, but overall a great doctor!

Dr. Bhattacharyya performed a very successful open reduction internal fixation procedure on my left elbow about 8 weeks ago. Its joint alignment is excellent, its range of motion is already nearly identical to that of my right arm, and its bearing ability is rapidly increasing. I feel very fortunate that he could fit me into his schedule on short notice.
