She’s also very rude and talks back to customers I respect the admin supervisor and others around because they’re very friendly ! I usually get checked in by the other ladies but unfortunately I got grumpy Melissa . I hope my paperwork gets signed because she acted so confused and kept assuming things about my file!
Poor customer service at this office. My first appointment was canceled I received an text message saying that you have to reschedule I called to reschedule and was told the doctor will be in and no need to reschedule when I get to the office the doctor is out for that day so I reschedule and the same thing happens again the doctor is out for the day the workers at the sign in desk asked did I get notified of the cancelation by text and voicemail I received the text message but did not receive an voice mail. My first appoint I received the text message and I called to reschedule and was told the appointment was confirmed for that day. I traveled over an hour to make these appointments and took time off work. I'm felling frustrated and the workers at the sign in desk didn't seem to care.
This place is absolutely a mess. The wait times are horrible The staff organization is HORRIBLE I had an appointment last week just for a consultation and they mention that my lab results would be in for today and when I go to the pharmacy it was never placed! My last three visits I have waited 45-1 hour. I’ve had virtual appointments that were basically pointless with how they schedule appointments. They poorly keep track of client records and information. Every appointments I’m being asked about a medication I stopped taking over a year ago I DO NOT RECOMMEND The only decent thing is the staff at front desk they try to help but it’s a mess
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional care Dr. DAVID GILES has provided me over the past 12 years. I didnt know what to expect when I moved here from Texas. His ability to explain medical situations clearly and provide valuable health tips has had a profound impact on my life. The dedication, empathy, and commitment to patient well-being makes him not only an outstanding doctor but also an incredible human being. Thank you for being an instrumental part of my healthcare journey, and I am truly grateful for the positive impact you've had on my health and overall well-being. With deep appreciation, Veterans Rosier
This review is for Dr. Osuntogun, not the practice as a whole. I’ve never left a healthcare related visit feeling so demoralized, unheard, and simply put…disregarded. I went in for my annual visit with Dr. Osuntogun and her bedside manner is very cold and distant. She made me feel as if I was wasting her time with my concerns, one of which is my anxiety. This is no way for a patient to feel. I’m not sure if she’s burnt out, but it may be time for her to retire because she does not deliver quality healthcare. I immediately called to have my care switched over to another provider. Save yourself some trouble and do not see Dr. Osuntogun.
I’ve been a patient here for several years, I’ve grown exhausted of raising the same issue with the office manager and to my physician over-and-over again with only small improvements going to the wayside over time. It’s simple, just fill Rx within a appropriate time. Patients need their medication requests filled in a timely way and it DOES NOT happen here. Putting the Hopkins name on this collective only sets a false expectation of confidence. There are a few shining stars in the support teams. The physicians response to prescription refills goes unheard for several days before they “get around to it.” The medical assistant(s) has always emailed me back very quickly that the request has been passed on to the physician. Consider yourself lucky if a response comes back in two to three days. If it happens on a Friday, the weekend doesn’t count. How is it that on a Friday, that Rx requests are not reviewed before COB? Now, if there is a response to this post it may be, it takes time. I moved to Colorado and went to UC health for my medical needs. I would say that UCHealth is comparable to Hopkins in size and they were able to refill medication’s in the same day the request was made, if not the same day, then it was always filled the next morning. At Johns Hopkins, community physicians there is no urgency to assist patients that are not in front of the doctor. I’ve experienced lackadaisical movement at best by my care team to fill prescriptions. My physician is nice but I have learned over time that she not dependable. I am on a wait list for another office.
I have been a patient of John Hopkins Community Physicians since 2009. I started going to the Bowie location in 2012 after the Laurel office closed. I had 2 wonderful primary care physicians who left the practice between 2013 and 2016. Then I started seeing Dr. Williams. I really like her; however, her schedule was not working for me in 2019 when I needed an annual physical so I saw Dr. Osuntogun. I don't want to ever see this Dr. again. I thought I was the only one who had a very negative experience with Dr. Osuntogun. She is not a good doctor because she does not listen to her patients and does not try to understand their concerns. In my case, as she was going over the paperwork for the blood work, I asked her to check for Hepatitis because I had a blood transfusion the previous year in 2018. I just wanted to be sure that I didn't contract Hepatitis from the blood transfusion, because there are no guarantees in medicine. This doctor condescendingly told me "You can't give Hepatitis from a blood transfusion. They check the blood." I told her that there are no guarantees in medicine. After going back and forth, she finally clicked the Hepatitis box on the form. Then she suggested that I have a mammogram, and I told her that I preferred other options instead of the mammogram because for some women they can be painful. She blurted out to me "Mammograms do not hurt." Pain is relative for everyone. I just felt she was so insensitive to my feelings and concerns. For these reasons, I will not be seeing Dr. Osuntogun ever again.
Jonathan is awesome! He is one of the front desk associates. He was patient and listened to my concerns and questions. He goes the extra mile!!
The staff was very professional and knowledgeable about their craft and customer service experience. They answered all of my questions pertaining to my health concerns.
This is a very patient friendly office, they know what they are doing. My doctor, Emma Williams is wonderful, she explains everything to me and is very personable. Been going for six years, I am always on time and so are they!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
