This review has nothing to do with the doctor, only the person who answered the phone. I already see a doctor at a different Capital Women's Care location (Silver Spring) but called this location (since I live in this area) for an urgent appointment. The woman asked my DOB and name, then asked if I would be transferring care to their location. I said no and told her that my current doctor can't see me until December, this office was closer and I wanted to stay within the CWC network instead of going to an urgent care. The woman said "oh, no we don't have anything available." Why ask for my information only to tell me you did not have an available appointment? Had I said yes to transferring my care to this location, I'm sure she would have found an appointment for me.

I came to Dr. Risam because my prior doctor had recently retired. I found her to be very nice and she made me feel very at ease. Her bedside manners were excellent , and she didn't rush!!! How nice that was!! She took the time for me to meet her in her office after the exam and talk to me and was very thorough . I felt very comfortable with her, and will definitely be back! Thank you Dr. Risam!

I have been with Dr Risam for years, my daughter is also her patient. However, I have not seen her for a while. So when I went recently, they had changed their location. Upon getting there, I met a whole new set of staff who are excellent. Dr Risam though older is still the same professional, pleasant and friendly who explained everything from beginning to the end on what to expect

How fast my new patient sign up was from arrival time to seeing Dr. Risam and to the completion of my Well Woman visit. Very professional, and the quick results was a wonderful experience.

I am extremely disappointed by the level of ignorance and lack of care provided by this doctor & this practice. My requests were completely ignored, and deprioritized to the point where I had to go to another doctor to even listen to me & honor my requests for labs (which were approved by my insurance company). Dr Risam did not even try to help me. Never again.

The appointment was seamless! The service delivery by Dr. Manjit at my visit was timely and excellent. She explained every observed test succinctly. She knows her onion, and professionally solid in her field.

First time at Capital women's health. I almost decided against going there as the reviews on google aren't the best . Glad i changed my mind. The front desk staff was polite. Dr Risam was also attentive, she listened to me and addressed all my concerns. I definitely recommend.
