My doctor wants a urine sample from me, because I wasn't able to give one at my appointment on September 9, 2025. So, I had to make an appointment. Today, on September 16, 2025, I called to reschedule. I alluded to the fact that this is for a urine sample. It should be very easy. You go in, walk down the hall, go into the bathroom and pee into a cup. That's it. Period! But they are making it a big deal, by asking me to make an appointment, calling it Protocol. The real reason they want me to make an.appountment is so they can bill my health care provider for the cost of an appiintment. I cancelled. If my doctor wants a urine sample from me, then he can call me and tell me to come in at my convenience, walk down the hall, into the bathroom and pee in a cup.
GREAT care from Laura Hartman CRNP! I'm really lazy about writing reviews and also i'm sick and tired of doctors and NP that don't even look at you in the face during your visit and just stare at the screen and type. The care I go from Laura is quite the opposite. She is very patient, thorough, listens to her patients, addresses all issues, follows up labs and communicates really well! Truly 5 stars. After seeing tens of doctors, i'm won't be seeing any primary beside Laura. Highly recommend her!!
This review is only directed to initial call and intake. Where is the compassion and heart of service for patient services? Putting a patient on hold without a greeting and letting the patient there is a hold time is so unprofessional. Before even greeting a patient, on the phone, and immediately asking about insurance reflects ZERO care for well-being...even before identifying the patient... Frequently disconnecting a patient and saying, 'sorry...I couldn't find your answer' when 4 calls are made is awful! Is this really how the organization wants to be represented? Where is the QC? Who is monitoring the phone calls/initial intake? Who is training the front line? The call to the office is the first and lasting impression.
I have been attending for a few years now but I must say that I am not impressed. My Doctor who I stayed for in-spite of rude support staff, always has me waiting for 30 to hour, plus. I don't feel valued, prioritized or appreciated. At this point, I am just staying for convenience, but I tend to use urgent care if something comes up. I pray that this review will motivate change at the Bowie office and bring God into their work. God is love.
I only had 1 experience with 1 NP. She doesn't care, every single visit was just a waste of money. I would look elsewhere!
This doctors office do not care! For a month and a half I was trying to get new medication, for my throat pain & the meds they prescribed, the pharmacy said that it’s a “special drug they don’t make” whatever that means.. I called 3 different times to see if the doctor could recommend a more accessible medication for my throat pain. EVERYTIME I called the receptionist told me they’ll make a note for the doctor and get back to me. NEVER followed up, & one time I called the receptionist left a note for a doctor I didn’t even see! ( I found that out the 2nd time I called) My insurance ended at the end of March as I am transitioning jobs, and now I don’t have insurance currently to even cover the meds but I guess it doesn’t matter cause the doctors office still never followed up. Terrible experience and staff.
I’ve had a great experience with Ms. Haynes. She addresses my needs in a timely manner and explains everything throughly. She also add notes into my chart regarding test results and is always very complimentary when she notices I’m taking action to improve my health.
Awesome 👍
I encountered Ms. Nanette while needing to reschedule an appointment with Dr. Filani. She was so pleasant, professional, and poised that it was a joy interacting with her. She is a great representative/liason for Maryland Primary Care Physicians. Respectfully, Saïs Kamalidiin
I have had a great experience with each doctor that has treated me at this practice. Cori Haynes, most recently, has shown care and tenacity in addressing issues I bring up. She also does a fantastic job educating me on what certain test results mean (and don't mean). That being said, however, the management of the practice makes it difficult to schedule sick appointments within any reasonable time frame. As a result, I have been looking for a different practice for my primary care needs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
