Dr. Sami Mufarrij was great! Haven’t had a male GYN in YEARS and he made me feel comfortable sharing my concerns with him- he listens and is professional and personable at the same time! Didn’t feel rushed at all and treated with respect! If you’re looking for a GYN highly recommend!

Dr. Sami was incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable, and comforting. I had a little bit of fear about seeing a male gynecologist but he easily has the best beside manner of any doctor I’ve been to in the DMV. I feel lucky to have found him and encourage everyone to see him. I hope he stays my doctor for life!

Dr. Sami has the best bedside manner of any doctor I’ve seen, easily. He is so comforting and kind. Above all, he is incredibly smart as well. All hesitation I had about having a male gynecologist was completely washed away when I met him. I wish more doctors were like him. He cares about his patients and never made me feel rushed.

He is Heaven sent, our “real” life Angel. Dr. Sami Mufarrij came highly recommended by my mother in law. We’d been planning on a new baby and wanted to ensure we got connected with someone who was efficient, knowledgeable and who truly cared as my pregnancies are high risk. Dr. Sami is that and more. From the first introduction, he was patient, informative and really took the time to listen to my concerns. I didn’t fell rushed during each of our appointments and he also made sure my husband was clear on our pregnancy plan and that he didn’t have any questions. Before I knew it, I was put on bed rest due to severe preeclampsia. During my stay at the hospital, Dr. Sami checked in on myself baby and husband daily. Unfortunately, I got really sick and had to deliver early. Dr. Sami was on call that day, but still took the time out to come in and assist with my c section. To this day, he checks on my baby to make sure all is well. Under Dr. Sami’s care, I felt like he provided the same attention and care that he would his own family and for that we are very grateful. He saved the live’s of both myself and baby, as he was very much involved in ensuring we were/are progressing well. He is our family’s forever doctor for obgyn services and I feel extremely fortunate to be his patient. If you are looking for a doctor who will listen to your concerns/takes action and someone who cares about his patients….visit Dr.Sami!

I delivered my first baby with Dr. Mufarrij and his practice. Dr. Mufarrij was an excellent provider - very knowledgeable, kind, and always had time for a million questions. I wanted to deliver without most/any of the common interventions and they were super supportive of that even in the context of the hospital birth. He let me go to 41.5 weeks before induction and was not at all pushy about it. I did end up getting induced and I was very grateful it was with a doctor who was not antsy for all the interventions and it was just genuinely the safest option. Based on conversations with other intervention-averse moms, he is a pretty unique physician with regard to this flexibility. Also, they deliver at Holy Cross in Silver Spring which was exceptional. I highly recommend this practice.
