Verified with insurance that I was 100% covered and in-network with no copay for an annual physical exam. The office initially told me $195, then it got changed to $90. I asked if it was coded correctly and they said we don’t code it. I asked why the charge changed and they said it was from their billing department. I left without a physical. Just didn’t trust anyone up front. Had little to no issue last year. Not sure what’s changed.
Dr. Sood’s office USED to be great. I went in to have a physical done. I specifically wanted to see Dr. Sood but got a nurse practitioner who only asked me a couple questions. I asked her if I could have all my STI’s checked and ect. They give you some coochie COVID test and made me do it myself. I also had bloodwork done. It’s been weeks and they’ve harassed me to make a follow up appt. To review my labs. I told them I was unable to come in but only ONE lab came in. How do you harass someone to make a follow up and you don’t have all the results from the appt.? I’ve called multiple times asking for all my results, they seem to can’t find them, I never got the referral I asked for and ENT or anything!! I found a new doctor and will start over with them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this office!!!! So Disappointing!!
You will not see Dr. Rashika Sood at this office. Only a Nurse Pratitioner or another Dr. Sood in her family (briefly). They must be capitalizing off her name. You should also know that there is a long wait time, and they did not even check my blood pressure, temperature or weight the last time I went. How are they allowed to have so many locations under the name of one doctor and never tell patients that doctor does not work there? 🤔 This means I need to look for another primary care doctor. SMH!
I see why the rating is so low. Luckily my home-base is not this location it's the one in Forestville. My doctor wanted to get a second opinion from this location. Honestly, I don't feel safe nor seen as when I arrived I was never made aware that there'd be a dramatic wait time. There were 5 to 6 people all scheduled 10 to 5 minutes apart. One lady was there for her 11:30 apt and left after an HOUR of no update or being seen. My appointment was 12 and I left after an hour of not being seen. If I can come early and be on time for my appointment, so can the doctor. There truly is no excuse. If you can't see all of your patients at an appropriate time then they shouldn't be scheduled. I want to be clear that this is not about waiting but about ethics. This feels like a "Let me just schedule a bunch of people and hope to fill my schedule". To make things worst the waiting room has 0 privacy which allows for you to hear other people's personal business. Overall I'm truly disappointed.
I scheduled an appointment about two weeks ago specifically to see Dr. Rashika at 7610 Pennsylvania Ave, Suite 300, Forestville, MD. When I booked the appointment, I made it clear I wanted to see her, and I was told I would receive a confirmation and patient form the day before. That never happened. While trying to call the office on the morning of my appointment, I noticed several reviews from others who also requested Dr. Rashika but were not seen by her. When I called to follow up, I was told she wouldn’t be there at all. I find this frustrating and unprofessional. If you’re specifically looking to see Dr. Rashika, I suggest confirming multiple times — or reconsidering. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re okay being seen by a nurse practitioner instead.
👎🏽
Wasted 1 hour of my life waiting to be seen. The associates at the front desk are extremely unorganized.
My dad was a stroke victim 2 years ago and needed to be referred to a neurologist, its 2025 and has not yet got sent the correct office notes in order to be seen. Whoever the woman is that picks up the phone is incompetent. She asks the same questions over and over again, even when you answered her. The neurology office asked for neuro sensory notes, and it was never sent, so they cancelled his appointment. This appointment was made 2 or 3 months ago, so why hasn't the notes been sent and if there is no note, why didn't anyone call for my dad to complete this in the office. Also, the woman kept telling me the reason his appointment was called was because his insurance. She was confusing another neuro office and that is what is annoying, because we made a whole appointment with his PCP just to get a neurologist that accepts his insurance. last she refused to transfer me to an office manager/supervisor telling me that she cannot transfer calls, mind you this woman never called me back on Friday to let me know if notes were sent or not. Now I have to drive from Baltimore to P.G County to raise hell in the office in order to speak with someone.
De.Sood is very attentive, she listen and gets to the bottom of the problem and treats it
I booked with Dr Rashika Sood for an annual check up (First time patient). The first SHOCKER....was that the bathroom is outside the main office. So for a urine sample, you have to carry your cup to the bathroom (outside) and bring it in yourself!!! (Bowie location). When I arrived, I was told that I have to pay a $20 co-pay...I reluctantly paid because I knew my copays are $10. When it was time to be seen I didn't see Dr. Rashika Sood...I was seen by some other guy and Zoodoc did not inform me I was going to be seen by someone else. For my follow-up appointment I arrived on time and the receptionist said I have a $10 copay. That made me question my first appointment pay of $20. I asked why the difference in price, the receptionist said she had to "figure out" why my co-pays are different. She later said I will be getting a $10 refund for my first appointment...she didn't explain why I was overcharged or anything. So imagine if I had never said anything? In addition to this follow-up, I waited over 50 minutes to be called! Then I still didn't see Rashika Sood, I saw an NP instead. This is the worse experience from a doctor's office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
