Johns Hopkins Community Physicians's Online Review Report Card

After being with this practice for 15+ years so disappointed that my PCP left the practice and there was no seamless transition to have another doctor take over established patients. Requiring a meet and greet with another doctor that I would certainly be charged for is unacceptable. This would be my third PCP with the practice and never had I ever been required to meet and greet a new doctor before getting my meds filled or even before having a physical. Ridiculous

The worst doctors experience I’ve ever had in my entire life was here with Dr. Bonita Coe. She is very abrasive, rude and disrespectful! There is no reason for a physician to be aggressive and nasty when advising patients. It’s unnecessary, unacceptable and inexcusable. In life it’s not what you say it’s how you say it. Luckily, she is leaving the facility, but not soon enough in my opinion. I was upset the entire day following my 8AM visit. I had appointments with Tamika Jones in her absence once or twice, and she was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend Dr. Jones. She will be my new primary care provider.

Thought I liked this practice until I was sent an additional bill for my physical. The claim was that I discussed information outside of the guidelines of what a physical includes. I disputed the claim based on being prompted with a questionnaire I was told was the standard for a physical. The incident was under review for over a month with multiple follow ups on my part only to be informed they were sticking to their decision with a bill notification from the mychart app. I called to inquire about the claim and the representative let me know a decision was made. There was no follow up on their part even after I asked for it to be notated on file I would like to be informed of their decision. My insurance provider explained to me that there are some providers that like to double bill for “additional services”. I find that type of business to be dishonest and would not recommend them. I will be doing my due diligence to find a new honest provider.

Absolutely love my Primary doctor, Dr. Jones. But there is new front desk staff (I loved whoever I usually talk to and see) who is rude, constantly drops the ball. I also saw a different doctor recently and she just seemed irritated in general. I’ve got enough going on, and to have to deal with people who are in a bad mood and are working with people is inexcusable. If I’m coming to you for help then try to help and don’t be rude. It’s unnecessary. I’ve given enough grace and I’m tired of it at this point. This practice had so much promise but now it is going down the drain. Don’t be a doctor or a receptionist for a medical office if you can’t be nice or like people. People with severe conditions have enough to deal with. It’s not that hard to be empathetic and kind to someone who is being kind to you. If it continues I will go to the patient advocate.

Hold time to change my mom's Drs appt is ridiculous. 15 minutes and still waiting..... I don't have her portal info so I have to talk to someone.

Dr. Tamika Jones is awesome and so is nurse Janae. The whole staff is awesome. They listen . They are kind and patient. My appt was on time. Definitely telling my friends and family about this place. We are all looking for a primary care doc.

Tamika Jones is such a caring and attentive physician. You can not ask for nothing more as she sincerely listens to your concerns to address any medical needs. She is absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend booking your appointment with her at John Hopkins. I look forward to being in her care long term.

This place rocks! I always get the best care and an appointment right away when I need it. Dr Tardio is an awesome Dr who explains things in detail so I understand. He really cares about my health. The rest of the staff are professional and friendly. I’m grateful to all of them for risking getting Covid by providing hands on care.
