Medstar Shah Medical Group At Wildewood Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

Had my first appointment for chemo a little over a week ago. Initially, the staff was kind and helpful. Then it was lunch and apparently the entire office goes to lunch at the same time. After the needle went in, everyone disappeared and never came back to see if any of us were even still alive. It took a patient getting up and pushing her IV pole down the hall to get help. That's inexcusable, untolerable and dangerous. Once my nurse got off her large behind, I asked about next appointment. She had the nerve to tell me that it's her lunch break and she'd be happy to schedule it once she's done. Nevermind, I'll find another doctor. It's only cancer, right? It's beenmore than a week and I'm still angry thay I've been put in this situation

If I could give a zero, I would. I was requested to submit my discs for comparison and an addendum, ref an MRA from Penrad Imaging. This was February 15th 2022. I drove there and personally dropped them off and was asked if I wanted to wait. I asked how long the wait was and the lady at the desk said a few hours. I declined and asked could they call me and let me know. She said yes. Today is April 12th 2022 and no matter how many emails I send via their Nextmd.com website or how many phone calls I make to request an update, I received nothing! They say they'll call you back, but don't. All I requested was an addendum considering Penrad Imaging have for the past 3 years diagnosed me with an aneurysm but MedStar came back with nothing wrong. If MedStar is correct I'd be elated but obviously I want answers, knowing that an aneurysm doesn't just disappear. Whoever is at fault with my results, at least Penrad Imaging answer their phones, listen to your request, treat you with respect and "mailed" my discs to me with promptness and most of all - they care! I've given up trying to work with MedStar Shah Medical Group after 2 months receiving a "silent treatment" plus their sheer incompetence and lack of care, respect and professionalism. I called a few minutes ago to ask for an update and still nothing has been done, hence I write this review. At this stage I will no longer pursue this with MedStar Shah Medical Group and will go to MedStar Head Office. I am now left with having to drive there again to collect my discs that I dropped off with them in February 2022. Never in my worst nightmares would I have expected such terrible service. Disgraceful.

Some staff are super nice, some are extremely rude. I have my 1st appt with the doctor outside of my hospital stay next week. We'll see how that goes...
