I can't begin to put into words how Fortunate I feel to have had Dr. Oren Blam . Not only did he take time to listen to me. And what was important for me in regards to my fracture. He knew I was a coach. And I was determined to get back to working with my kids as soon as possible. He fit me into his schedule as fast as he could. The surgery went unbelievably well. He was able to stabilize my fracture to the point when I woke up from surgery. I was actually in less pain. The healing was slow at first but now each day I feel better and better. I can't tell you how much I appreciate. Everything that he and his staff did for me. They actually helped turn what would have been a complete devastation to me around. They gave me hope that I will return to all the things that are important to me. And they allowed me to make very important decisions regarding my care. Dr. Blam is an excellent surgeon! He is thorough in explaining the problem he sees. He does not recommend surgery unless it's necessary. He instills in you a confidence of his knowledge and skills as a surgeon. Because of his thoroughness he can be late to his appointments. Which is a draw back depending if your the patient he's seeing at the moment or the patient waiting to be seen.

Dr. Blam is very kind and explains things in a way I could understand. He is compassionate in that he understands when a patient says they are in pain. Dr. Blam will be doing my surgery.

About two weeks ago I had my first appointment with Dr, Blam to discuss getting the surgery for the nerve pain in my cervical spine affecting my right arm. He spoke really fast especially when explaining the surgery. Looking at the reviews from others I’m feeling a little nervous about the surgery he’s going to perform on me next month.

I have had 2 surgeries with Dr. Blam in 2021 and 2022 . Both went even better than expected and my recovery was smooth. It was the second surgery with him though that I am most grateful to him. I slipped down some stairs and injured my neck to the point I was getting abnormal numbness and symptoms. I conferred with a neurologist and had an MRI. I then saw Dr. Blam for a recheck on my first surgery and casually mentioned the MRI. He looked at it with out prompting and came back to tell me I needed surgery. We scheduled it quickly and I found out later that if I had slipped or otherwise caused any further trauma to my neck I could have become paralyzed or could have died (the neurologist agreed). Dr. Blam took the time to explain things, was always kind, and answered my questions. I will always be grateful to this Doctor.

Dr Blam was both courteous and comprehensive from our first meeting till my release after my final post surgical visit. I had a severe herniated disk that caused pain so bad I could barely walk with a cane. It required surgery. Surgical staff and Dr Blam completed the surgery without complications. Recovery met all the promised expectations, and after the forewarned 3 days of post surgical discomfort (handled with pain meds); recovery progressed quickly, and my pain was gone within a week. Highly recommend Dr Blam.
