Office looks like a bomb went off

Appointment was scheduled for the late afternoon, but found out after arriving that they had scheduled us for their posted closing time. Front desk staff was rude and rushed us because they were ready to leave at the time we walked in for the appt. We providing a plethora of information to the staff member who we spent you on the phone before this appointment as we were a new patient to their practice however none of that information was relayed to the doctor and the records that they requested were from only one source and were in complete so the doctor had no idea what testing had already been done with the patient, had no results because the front of the house staff did not relay any of the information or request any information from the appropriate doctors before the appt. I also brought complete medical records from the primary care doctor with me but when I offered them, the staff stated they didn't want them but to give to the doctor and IF he wanted them, he would ask them to make copies. When we saw the doc it quickly became apparent that he had no information from the previous neurologist, or any idea that the patient had ever been to another neurologist, nor any of the neurological testing that had been done and REPEATED, in the past year even though I provided a detailed description of everything procedure, test, etc., as well as, who did the testing, where each had taken place, and results we had received when I talked to the staff member (presumably one of the doctor's assistants) before scheduling this appointment SEVERAL weeks prior. The doctor said he "didn't have time" for me to look through the documentation I brought with me to find the information he needed and that he didn't want the records. He said he would have one of the girls request the records from each of the doctors' offices and that we would have to come back for another appointment after he had what he wanted from those doctors. Their office is about an hour away from where we live and the patient was clearly struggling with balance and other issues related to a previous stroke, yet he just didn't care. He showed no empathy or patience for this 85 year old woman and her desperate struggle to find out what is causing her condition, as well as to improve or resolve that issue. He was a huge disappointment!!! Now, this patient has to come back another day (struggling to maneuver to get down the stairs at home, an hour each way to the office, and then a rude staff and doctor) to hopefully get some answers and improve and get better.

Wonderful, kind, caring physician. Been going to him for years and has always been exceptional.

Dr. Reel was very thorough, kind and understanding. Very knowledgeable Doctor with a professional bedside manner. I did not feel rushed. All of my questions were answered and I felt reassured. I highly recommend.

The office has files all over the place and not locked up in filing cabinets. The NP has no idea what she is doing. When I would met with her about my migraines she didn't know caffeine could help them. I told the office I was moving and would not need another appointment, they still scheduled one and charged me for it. The office has files all over the place and not locked up in filing cabinets. The NP has no idea what she is doing. When I would met with her about my migraines she didn't know caffeine could help them. I told the office I was moving and would not need another appointment, they still scheduled one and charged me for it. When I needed a refill on my medication they would not fill it even though they still accepted my insurance because I didn't go to an appointment that I was not aware of. The staff overall is rude expect for one women who loves cats. Dr. Reel has absolutely no bedside manner. Don't go here, it is worth it to drive to Annapolis or Washington.

If your life means anything to you, you should not see Charles Reel. I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life. First they ask for a lot of information on the intake forms that you should not have to give them, and the procedures of his practice are very shady. I was going to cancel just because of that, but needed seen asap. Charles is very rude an would not listen to a word I had to say. He talked over me and then even went as far as to talk over me and only listen to my husband. My husband could not answer his questions as my husband has memory issues. Charles then told me that I don't have what the urgent care doctor said I had. Without tests or anything he just wam bam said nope!!! He also said that my symptoms did not match what they said either. However my grandmother has what urgent care suspected and her symptoms match mine perfectly. When I asked him how so?... He said he is the doctor and he knows. However he did not see my episodes and would not listen to my symptoms, so I'm not sure how he came to that conclusion. The urgent care doctor and the er doc both saw my episode, but again he wouldn't even listen. I am the paying customer, if I ask a question I would expect to be given a real answer. An answer that has facts that stand behind it. All of my symptoms match what he says "I don't have". I am seeing a new Neurologist who disagrees with Charles and I will update this when results come back.

I am a caregiver and have 2 clients who go to Dr. Reel. I find him not only very thorough but very respectful and patient with questions. He explains everything so well. The staff is not only very helpful but always friendly.

The worst, most insensitive doctor. If I could give a zero star I would. If you want any type of help involving any health problems in this practice, do not choose this doctor.

Dr. Reel and Tracie ordered a lot of thorough tests for several issues. It was extensive testing, but there were results and diagnoses, with detailed information. He obviously has experience and knowledge of the complicated nervous system, and kept searching for answers.
