Good location, friendly staff, and Dr. Cumiskey spends time with patients. The problem was he diagnosed a meniscus injury as arthritis even though I pointed out to him where the severe pain was (location of meniscus). He refused to refer me to PT and would not recommend an MRI. His treatment: “Take Advil.” Makes you wonder. This resulted in months of pain (and limping) until another doctor took me seriously. My treatment/care was unnecessarily delayed because of my experience at this office. My PT confirmed that I had been misdiagnosed.

This practice is the best in this town . The staff are so professional and nice. Good sense of humor which is a plus for me. Dr Cuminsky is thorough and listens to your concerns to come up with a treatment plan that will be beneficial for you. Very good practice. Keep up the good work.

After suffering with knee pain for two months and doing home self-treatment without any promising results, I decided to seek out professional assistance. After doing quite a bit of research, I settled on going to Dr. Cumiskey in Elkton, MD. I was extremely satisfied with his assessment and treatment plan. He took the time to listen to my concerns and proceeded with providing me with a diagnosis and what to expect moving forward. I'm currently taking a few sessions of physical therapy to help with the injury. So far, I have seen nothing but positive results! Dr. Cumiskey's entire staff is wonderful and caring. A great place and a wonderful doctor!

My father almost died after he told him his constant left arm pain was arthritis and told him to take a Tylenol, he had a heart attack two days after his last appointment which resulted in a quadruple bypass, and now his arm pain is gone. After my father explained the kind of treatment he got at this office to other doctors…they were surprised to say the least.
