Many years ago I was referred to Dr. Jacobsen because of an inaccurate prescription by another doctor. He is an outstanding, and extremely well educated physician. Even when living out-of-state, I return to him--his thoughtful and professional examinations (especially involving complicated issues) are outstanding. He ranks at the top of his profession.

He is very thorough and knowledgeable and no nonsense. However, his office is not well organized and a visit is guaranteed to take the whole morning.

I've been Dr. Jacobson's patient for many years and have been completely satisfied. He does a thorough exam and explains the results of the various tests. He also referred me to 2 specialists to deal with specific problems and got me in to see one immediately to check on a retina problem. Staff has been fine.

Dr. Jacobson has been my eye doctor for many years and I feel gives excellent care. I was suffering from dry eyes for awhile and he helped me try out several different kinds of contact lenses, until I found one that worked to minimize the dryness. He always explains things very clearly. I think he's a very good doctor.
