Dr Kirk is a puzzle master for gastro issues! She's an independent and logical thinker, who was able to piece together years of my chronic symptoms to form a conclusion in a way that other providers have not. She listened intently, asked clarifying questions, and took the time to thoroughly understand and document my unusual situation with undiagnosed stomach pain. She is the third gastroenterologist I've seen in 7 years and she is the only doctor to think and speak beyond typical protocols. She is very knowledgable and I highly recommend her, especially if you have an issue that has been difficult to diagnose.

I was still sleepy/groggy when the doctor came in to review the procedure, but wasn't awake to comprehend or ask questions. That was poor form. This was at 1:40, following a 1pm colonoscopy. A nurse then tells me to keep my eyes open. I said -- I'm really tired, can I rest more? She said "two minutes. We need the bed."She came back and tried to rouse me again, and tried to get me to get up. I said I was too drowsy and dizzy and that I had to rest more. They wheeled me to an ad-hoc space to rest a bit (like 5 mins) then a different nurse tried to get me out of bed AGAIN. I said, why are you rushing me? She said, Oh, we are not. - Sure seemed like it to me. I asked to speak to the doctor and they said she was in another procedure already. I got dressed and had to have my husband hold on to me as I walked to the exit. It was clear that this practice is just trying to move through as many patients as possible as quickly as possible. I spoke to a friend who had the same experience here.

Dismissive and didn’t listen to any of my statements regarding my issues. Spent thousands on needless tests and never diagnosed my condition. Forced to go to another GI where I was immediately correctly diagnosed.

Dr.Kirk is totally professional. In the office, she’s direct and listens to her patients. During my colonoscopy she was re-assuring before the procedure and afterwards explained the outcome in detail. First rate experience.

Barely met her moments before being put under for colonoscopy. Very brusque afterwards and, albeit unintentionally, thoughtless of how some of what she quickly and briefly conveyed might hurt my feelings.
