List of Malaisrie Nora's Reviews
In 2013, Dr. Malaisrie treated my nasal polyps and performed surgery on my sinuses at Sibley Hospital. That was more than eight years ago. Since then, I have been symptom free. My sense of smell has completely returned. She is an excellent, capable physician who restored my health. I will always be grateful to her.
I explained a traumatic experience to her related to the reason for my visit and she laughed. This is a the most heartless reaction I have experienced and I would never go back to her again.
Doctor Malaisrie prescribed Levaquin for a sinus infection. Within a day had numbness in my foot. Came to learn how dangerous this drug is to tendons, etc. My internist was horrified. She didn't warn me about risks. Thank god I looked up side effects after numbness started. When I called, she said to stop the drug immediately. Bad medicine.
I saw the doctor for ten minutes in which she typed everything I said on a computer. She said there was nothing she could do but sent me a 300 dollar bill. Shame on her!
Very personable and knowledgeable. Easy to schedule an appointment.
It has been a while since I went to her, but she removed a lymph node in my neck. The surgery went very well, she made sure that I was comfortable with the procedure and talked me through the whole process. When it was finished, she was very prompt and efficient when I needed to swap my pain meds because they were making me sick. The lymph node was in my neck and four years later the scar isn't even visible. She did an excellent job. I'm not sure why there are so many poor reviews on her.
I saw Dr. Nora Malaisrie today for increasing pain and pressure in my ear, as I'm going out of town tomorrow. I would have liked if she introduced herself and spent a little more time with me. She did seem a bit rushed. However, she was very nice and understanding of my preference to have ear tubes (should my TMJ MRI come back negative and my orthodontist doesn't have any ideas on how to treat my problem) put in under general anesthesia.
I went to see her for the first time for my left ear hearing problem. I felt she was sort of angry on me for the reason I don't understand. I mentioned to her that I was feeling pain and pressure in my inner ear, but she insisted that the ear looks normal from outside. Her judgment was mostly based on the audiologist's report who examined me shortly beforehand. The audiologist's headset was not working well on one side (she had to swap the sides to be able to check both ears) and I could feel hearing on my left ear was not as clear as last year when I had the same test. However, the audiologist reported my both ears as normal. I am planning to see another doctor next week to find out about the pain and blockage in my left ear. I don't recommend Dr. Nora Malaisrie.
The office front staff was rude and curt. First time I waited 45 minutes, thought it was a fluke, Not so, the second visit was a one hour 15 minute wait that was as discourteous as it was demeaning (an emergency was not the cause - just bad time management. I left. No call back to explain, etc. This is no way to run a practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
