We have been seeing Dr. Vallarta for the last four years after leaving a disorganized pediatrician in the West End. Dr. Vallarta is sweet and kind when speaking to my elementary aged children (one boy, one girl) to empower them to speak up for themselves, developing a healthy relationship with their doctor. He listens to them, listens to me, makes suggestions and has tons of data that he draws upon to explain the latest science behind child development. I'm grateful for his thoughtful and patient approach.

We love Dr Vallarta! He takes his time to answer all our questions and concerns. He has been absolutely marvelous during the pandemic. He takes time to talk directly to our son. We couldn’t ask for a better doctor!

Have been seeing Dr. Vallarta since our son was born and continue to prioritize him over his colleagues. He provides honest and thoughtful evidence-based feedback on all our new parent concerns. He knows both the best practices and emerging research and findings, which not all doctors stay aware of. He is kind and always makes time for us. Really grateful we found him.

Brought 7month old grandson in sick! Did flu test. Did NOT PLACE into sanitary container walked out of the room with sample! Dr said negative to flu! Next day we went to hospital and stayed 4 DAYS! Flu A and rhino virus! Not much faith in his abilities: (

Doesn't listen to parent's concerns, or ideas. Rushed in, rushed out. Charged for an expanded visit, but only spent a couple minutes in the room. Made mistake on Rx at pharmacy.

Dr. Vallarta is an excellent Pediatrician! He is very knowledgeable. He is always approachable. I felt my child got the best care. He found time to answer all my questions and concerns. Dr. Vallarta is polite, compassionate, and encouraging. My husband and I felt very fortunate to have him as our children’s pediatrician. We felt very sad when he left New York to work in Florida.
