Avoid at all costs. She over-prescribed the wrong steroid for a woman of my age and stature. I was given no guidance as to side effects nor was I given any warnings as to possible complications. The paralyzing, middle of the night panic attacks began shortly after I stopped taking the drugs. Shortly after that, over Thanksgiving, 2018 I lapsed into catatonia and required eight days of hospitalization for what has been diagnosed by my medical team as Post Steroidal Psychotic Depression. A year later, I am still recovering from her mistake. Once able, I wrote Dr. Shen and told her what had happened. She responded by saying, essentially, these things happen. Had Medicare not covered my expenses, we’d be in court over this.

Dr. Shen is kind and compassionate. She fully explains the treatment protocol and makes time for questions. I highly recommend Dr. Shen.

I had a completely positive experience with Dr. Shen -- the office was clearly having a hectic Friday and despite that, Dr. Shen was still smiling at the end of it. She was kind, thorough, and easy to speak with. Her instincts were on target and her solution to my issue worked. I would strongly recommend Dr. Shen.

This female doctor is way too snobby and corky and not great for both kids or young children, even for adult, we cannot recommend this doctor at all. Not just us but our kid also got really bad trauma from this doctor's attitude.

Office schedulers reviewed & affirmed acceptance of my daughter's primary & secondary insurance before scheduling her. When we arrived, we were told that because we have not the primary deductible (starts 6/1), we could not be seen. The supervisor claimed that he tried to call me but my line was dead. I showed the desk clerk that I had no missed calls. He called my phone & it rang fine. My 13 yo was pulled from school fruitlessly. She had a perforated septum & did not need to have time wasted.
