List of Williams Jack's Reviews
Dr. Williams only gives his patients 5 minutes of his time during an office visit. :/ At least that was my experience. I wish I came to Yelp to check out reviews before wasting my time. SmhPros:The check-in staff and doctor was nice.Cons:Dr. Williams checked my throat and decided in 5 minutes that my extreme breathing attacks could be cured with Pepcid AC. I had a ton of questions and he said he would be back with my prescription. He sent in an office staff who couldn't answer questions about frequency, when to end the medication, how it might negatively interact with the multiple medications just to name a few. I kept asking the medical assistant to speak with the doctor and he kept saying no and giving a ton of excuses on why not. Instead he insisted on trying to answer medical questions, many of which didn't make much sense. Pretty sure it's ILLEGAL for anyone outside of the doctor to give medical advice.I called the office 3x and left messages for Dr. Williams to call me back since he couldn't spare time to answer my questions...he never called back. I had a really bad allergic reaction and didn't even get a call back when my message informed him.I don't care how great the staff is, if the doctor won't answer my questions and give me the care I need, I will not be going back and recommend you go elsewhere.
Dr. Williams is awesome. I had a simple but persistent condition that could have resolved without follow-up, but I had seen another ENT a year ago and it hadn’t resolved on its own. He met with me, created a plan of care, and had monthly check-ins so I could stay on track. I have several underlying health conditions and I know a good doc when I see one, and Dr. Williams is a great doctor. He was always incredibly kind, willing to listen, and thoughtful. I am so grateful I ended up at his practice and have recommended him to everyone I know!
Dr Jack is by far one of DC's best ENT, he is patience, caring, approachable and knowledgeable. He understand the singers' voice and is highly effective. I HIGHLY recommend him to everyone I know! I give him 5 plus stars. Fort Washington, MD
Amazing doctor. Went to several other ENTs who could not diagnose the problem, and he diagnosed it immediately and fixed it. Very nice person also.
Dr. Williams is absolutely awesome. Beautiful personality and highly skilled. I was referred to Dr. Williams from Dr. Miller (pulmonologist). I loved Dr. Williams so much that I brought my mom with me for an appt when I returned for a f/u. It turns out that Dr. Williams detected a swallowing issue that required further f/u to correctly diagnosed. Her referred my mom to Dr. Davidson at Georgetown. There were some issues with the f/u tests that were completed. Although my mom had already been referred out, Dr. Williams took time to make a call to Dr. D to discuss my mother’s care and ensure that we were heading down the correct path with testing and follow up. From there, Dr. D collaborated with speech therapist Jaymie Menier who diagnosed the rare medical issue that had plagued my mother. So rare that she was only able to locate 4 cases ever mentioned in medical journals. Dr. D performed the surgery in January and my mom has CJ tinies to improve by leaps and bounds since that day. We are so thankful to have met Dr. Williams. His expertise is beyond that of the average physician and his network of providers for referral are equally as skilled as he. My mom and I can’t wait to reschedule our appts with Dr. Williams to say thank you! Candice M
I went to Dr. Williams to fix my frequent bloody noses. He was a very friendly, warm person with excellent bedside manner. After it was decided to cauterize my nostril, he used this cotton ball-filled numbing chemical. HOWEVER, the numbing medication did not go into effect, which he was partially aware of given that my teeth weren't numb as was common among his patients with that specific numbing medication. Unfortunately, my veins were larger and more complicated to manage than expected, so I had to feel every bit of pain as he CHEMICALLY BURNED (cauterized) the most sensitive part of the inside of my nose. The trauma from the intense pain literally brought tears to my eyes for the next 10 minutes following the procedure, resulting from Dr. Williams' lack of attention to detail
If I could give 0 stars I would. I have had 4 appointments with Dr. Jack Williams of this group. The first 2 appointments were great. From there the service spiraled to subpar then to horrific. He then shared two surgical options. 2 days later, I scheduled the procedure. Showed up for the appointment only to be told there was an office location mixup. They rescheduled me for the next morning at 8am. When I arrived for the Appt., I was told they had scheduled me with another doctor (huh?). 5min later, an office assistant told me, the office did not have the anesthesia needed to do the procedure. I asked to see Dr. Williams so that I could understand, only to be told he was busy with other patients (really?!) 2 work days off, 2 different offices, a doctor mixup, no prep instructions about the procedure and the doctor is too busy to see me. Wow! PATIENTS BEWARE! Go to someone who actually cares and prioritized you. Update, after insisting to be seen, Dr. Williams eventually apologized.
Went to doctor Williams because of sinus problems that I was having. The physician's assistant indicated that a laryngoscopy was necessary for diagnosis. I inquired whether this would be covered by insurance, to which he assured me that it would be as this was medically necessary. Of course insurance did NOT cover it as a normal office visit and I was required to pay a large additional copay. Unbelievable greed. And it backfired too. Dr. Williams may have gotten an extra 100 bucks out of me, but he could have billed insurance for a lot more than that if I had come back for a second visit, which I will of course never do. AVOID!
He is simply the best ENT with great expertise, personality and empathy for patients. Dr Williams is the best choice in town for ENT related issues
Dr. Williams was highly recommended. Today was my first visit. I was asked to be in 20 minutes early to complete paperwork although my appointment was at 9:20am. However, I arrived at 9:30am due to delay in transportation and I was marked as a no show eventhough I was told by staff that I was still within my window of time to be seen. I was told that I should have been there early to complete paperwork and because I wasnt there I was marked as no show. I asked again was I late and was told no. As a new patient I wasnt allowed to complete the paperwork and see the doctor. The office manager explained that the doctor marked me as a no show. Again I wasnt late. I'm a new patient so I dont have a history of being late. Horrible first impression. No excuse. I left with the same issue. This isnt empathy to treat a new patient this way. Very Disappointing.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
