I was very nervous and scared about my colonoscopy procedure, it was my first time. At my consultation with Doctor Meighani, he explained, clarify and advised me well of everything. He made me feel safe, comfortable, cared for and I knew I would be given the best care. I had my colonoscopy done by Doctor Meighani. Everything went well. God bless you doctor, God's richest blessings on you and your family. I wish to thank all the RN'S, Caregivers, other Doctor's, everyone on staff at my procedure. God's richest blessings on each and everyone. I want to shout to the world about Doctor Meighani and his awesome, kind, excellent medical team and patient care. They are truly the best. As a patient who has experienced complex medical issues and complications in the past, I became very anxious when I heard the news about my previous GI specialist transitioning from MedStar. In my search for a new, knowledgeable, and seasoned GI specialist, I came across the MedStar medical magazine- headlining Dr. Meighani. This MedStar publication could not have came at a much better time! After reading Dr. Meighani's outstanding background and story, I just knew that I identified my new GI specialist! From the start, Dr. Meighani was professional, patient, and took the time to review my extensive medical history and journey. I have not looked back, and I am beyond grateful for Dr. Meighani and his entire GI team for making me feel welcomed, cared for, and heard! Thank you Dr. Meighani for seeing me so quickly and getting me started on medication. The staff and office was so friendly and thorough and Ms. Peacher nurse practitioner was very professional and helpful. I really appreciate your service.

My first colonoscopy was done last week and couldn't ask for a better doctor. I was so nervous about the procedure. Dr. Meighani explained to me from point A to Z what to expect. On the day of the procedure, he came to my bed and ask me a series of questions and stated he will see me soon. My schedule appointment was 12:30 pm and I was taken you recovery a little before 1:00 pm. He then came to my bedside and informed me of his finding and stated that he will call me if there was any need for concern. He was one of the best specialists I've come across. I did receive a letter in the mail yesterday stating everything was normal and that he will see me in 10 years. Thank you Dr. Meighani

Dr. Meighani is a very good doctor. He took time to talk to me and figure out what is going on me. He also followed up with me after my procedure. He did such a good job a recommended him to my mother.

Dr. Meighan is a decent practitioner but lacks bedside manners. Honestly, I think he is rude and needs to be more educated about how cancer affects the black community. Chadwick Boseman died young. Dr. Meighani either lacks respect for women or he is simply lazy and rude. For a preventative procedure, I saw him less than 10 minutes. This included the appointment to prepare me for the procedure and then the actual day of the procedure. He is not thorough in his explanations and appeared annoyed by me all the time. I never had a chance to ask questions after my procedure. He handed me a print out of it and then a few days later he sent a message stating the results and to make a follow up appointment in 5 years. I do not recommend going to him if you want to know how to prevent getting cancer because he tried to talk me out of getting this preventative procedure even though I have a family history of it and he actually found something during the procedure that potentially could become worse. Be your best advocate. Please find another doctor.
