List of Allison Elise Kerr's Reviews
Absolutely wonderful doctor, listens to questions & thoughtful answers specific to your needs. Office staff, with exception of Ms. Rose, could use some training in customer service but Dr. Kerr more than makes up for their shortcomings.
Doctor Kerr is a very good doctor. But her staff is completely incompetent.
I haven't seen this doctor, however the staff has not returned my phone call since the middle of January. They called my home, hung up on the person who they spoke with. I had to check the caller ID to see who they were. I left numerous messages for someone to call me back to schedule an appointment, and it is Feburary 9th and I still haven't got an response. Every time I call the office the ...
Dr. Kerr is an amazing Dr. I am not sure why the reviews of her are negative. She has not been with Access Health Care in CT for many years now. She moved out of state about 10 years ago if I am not mistaken. She is great. She takes a holistic approach to attack the issues and is very welcoming.
My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Kerr, I will be a new patient, but after experiencing this kind of behavior I really know if I want to deal with the attitudes & not being able to reach or leave a message for the doctor. I called the office for 3 days & no answer, left a message on the receptionist voicemail the 1st day, never received a call back, was unable to leave a message on the office manager voicemail because it was full for 3 days, never in my lifetime a manager voicemail was full for that extended time. I had to call the hospital main# on the 3rd day to see if the office was still there, they were able to get through & transferred me, so obviously the office was only answering in house calls, no outside calls, then the receptionist tried to explain that they had multiple calls & they were busy, but I inform her that I left a message & no one called me back for 3 DAYS, she stated that she would pass this on to the manager, after waiting for a while, I tried calling back & again no answer, so I called the main hospital ph# again in which I was transferred to office, this time I spoke to the manager in which I informed her that this was unacceptable & very poor services, she kept saying what can I do for you in a very nasty tone, like she didn’t want to hear what I was saying, she never apologize for my inconvenience, then she hung up on me. Whom ever is running this office along with the receptionist need classes on how to present excellent patient services. Good management starts with good customer service & how to run the office by prioritizing the workload & get organized. Your messages should be retrieved daily, and callback to your patients within 24 hours. Very disappointed
Doctor Kerr is a wonderful doctor, however, her staff is very unprofessional and incompetent.
I was recommended by a Physician and when I called to make an appointment the receptionist that answer my call was so nasty and rude, she had no manners.... Can't wait to tell the doctor on how very rude people she has working for her!!!!
I have been seeing Dr. Kerr for 2 years now for some serious issues. Dr. Kerr cares, listens to your complaints and with her knowledge has a plan that works for better health!!
Dr Kerr is professional, very personable and knowledgeable. She doesn't rush seeing her patients; therfore, you might sit a little longer than expected. Really thorough.....On the other hand, her staff is much to be desired!!! They are unprofessional, don'the return phone calls and the majority of the time they have the answering service on indicating that they are busy. I've been trying to make an appointment to see Dr Kerr now for weeks. I'm done, looking for another doctor. I can't take her staff anymore. Again, Dr Kerr is an excellent Dr. I'm sure she has lost out on a lot of patients due to her staff'so unprofessionalism.
Although Dr. Kerr is very knowledgeable, helpful, kind and patient, her staff is atrocious! They are the WORST I've ever experienced. Very rude, incompetent and don't return phone calls. They are extremely forceful in their lack of customer service, no room to sit in the over-crowded waiting rooms and say inappropriate things to you like "settle down", "relax", and "keep your pants, on, she'll be with you soon". Unbelievable that adults treat others with such disrespect. Although the doctor is good, I will never send anybody to her due to the substandard staff she keeps. I keep trying to see if the staff gets any better, but alas, they are all rude, all the time and are not at all responsive to phone calls and requests. There is no way I would ever go back to get mistreated by them again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
