Nahid Mazarei's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Mazarei was so wonderful. I couldn't imagine going through this experience without her. She was kind, stern, comforting, understanding and a true expert in her field. I had an interesting case and she ensured I had the best doctors, nurses and anesthesiologist in the OR. She met with my daughter at my pre-op appointment to answer all of her questions and alleviate concerns. The day of surgery she hugged me and said "I got you." She did everything she promised and more. I am 5 weeks post op and feeling better than I have felt in years.

When I left my very first appointment with Dr. Mazarei I was so relieved and excited thinking I'd found a phenomenal - compassionate, informative and insightful practitioner. At first she was thorough and listened to my history and concerns. She put me at ease and was very straighforward. The office staff were professional and efficient. Unfortunately and without notice, when I decided not to have a hysterectomy, against her insistence (it wasn't necessary for my symptoms) she would no longer take my appointments, and moved me to her obviously less experienced (though lovely) colleague who had a hard time relating to my needs. It was awkward and disheartening. There was no talking to Dr Mazarei about alternative treatment paths. She went straight to the most invasive and aggressive course. Also, there was no education on why she'd chosen the course she did as quickly as she did - two visits. I am sure Dr Mazarei is a very good doctor. However, I did not end up having my needs met with her, and I believe it is because, by exercising my right to be an educated consumer of medical services, I was no longer a profitable case. I do understand that her time is her money but the lack of communication and the follow-up experience with her office was disappointing.

I was referred to Dr Mazarei from her partner in her practice Dr. Tui for a hysterectomy. I saw Dr Maz one time about 2 years ago while pregnant. She was great then. During the surgery consult she was understanding, caring, compassionate and informative. She explained everything to me and we scheduled the laparoscopic hysterectomy. The day of the surgery she came in pre op, was wonderful, explained and confirmed again what we were doing and took me into surgery early. I just went for my post op and again, she was great at explaining all the biopsy results and restrictions. This has been a great experience. I know that sounds odd for a surgery but having a Dr like her makes it better. I had soreness but no pain. Only took Tylenol! I would recommend her and this surgery to anyone considering it. Also, all of her staff and Dr Tui is always welcoming and understanding. I just love this office and glad to be a patient there!!

I love Dr Mazarei! As a nurse we come across some horrific doctors but not her. As her (favorite) patient I have been with her for over 10 years. She was with me through a miscarriage and then supported and delivered my daughter a year later. 2 weeks ago I had a robotic laparoscopic partial hysterectomy and came out with no pain and moving around as if I never had surgery. I’m still taking it easy though. Her nurse Shawanna Davis is also excellent. They make the perfect team and as long as she is practicing she will forever be my doctor. She loves what she does and she loves people. She is an expert in her field. I love her with everything in me for how well she has cared for me over the years!

Dr. Mazarei is a highly gifted and caring doctor. She cares deeply about her patients and takes quality time to talk and explain the care needed for you. I know God sent her to me. ❤️🙏🏽. It was a honor to have her perform my surgery. Her staff is amazingly wonderful and caring as she is, it feels like an extended family when I’m there.

After having my original OBGYN doctor retire abruptly.I went to visit Dr.Mazarei office in Clinton. I had read so many good review that I decided to make a appointment. Appointment went well. However, I’ve been calling to make a f/u appointment and the phone keeps going to voicemail. My short time visiting the office I could already tell by the confusing atmosphere in the lobby with the women at the front desk that i would have some future problem with this office, but this soon. I’m not sure if Ill stay or go. I really don’t wanna to look for another OBGYN since I like Dr.Mazarei but I would like to be a call her office and schedule appointment to actually see her for goodness sake.

I was referred to Dr Mazarei 4yrs ago. Let me start off by saying she is the BEST. She is the most caring most loving very compassionate doctor I’ve had in a while. She really listens to you and then educate you when she speaks. I been dealing with some Stubborn Fibroids which caused me some heavy bleeding and bad cramps. After speaking with her and discussing what’s bests for me. I decided to get a Laparoscopic Hysterectomy just 2 weeks ago, I am very Pleased that I made that decision 😊😊. I had my Post op visit today and I am healing very well. Thank you again Dr Mazaeri and team for taking such good care of me. 🧡🧡🧡

Fantastic doctor.. Dr Mazarei discovered my endometrial cancer.. I immediately followed up and went to Sloan Kettering Cancer Tx Center where i had a total hysterectomy… Did not have to have any follow up chemo or radiation.. If u want an outstanding gyn doctor … Dr Mazarei is the one… Kudos to Dr Mazarei…

She is absolutely awesome! She actually takes time to sit and listen to you outside of the exam room. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses it can be hard to find a doctor that is knowledgeable about practicing without blood use and willing to take patients who do not accept blood. She is very knowledgeable and most of all respectful of my beliefs. So I assume she is like that with everyone that walks in her door. The confidence in herself and her work exudes in her speech and actions. I'm very thankful I found her and am now a regular patient. My surgery went very well and I couldn't' be happier with the results! Update - I am 2 months out from my surgery and the results are just what she said they would be......a WAY better quality of life. I'm very satisfied with this whole life changing experience and very happy to have her as my GYN.
