List of David Hartig's Reviews
Dr Hartig is the best dr there is . I have been going to him for 40 something years . My children went to him . He know what he is doing . He spends time with you , and checks everything to make sure . If something is not right he knows how to fix it or tell you what to do to make it right . He always does his best . Everyone up front is great and works with you . When you go there you will feel special and feel better . Dr Hartig will see to it . Thank you Dr Hartig for all the years of help . .
Dr Hartig has been my only family doctor I had ever seen. I'm 53 and my family and parents used him. They tell me I'm a new patient now and all my previous visits don't count. Once three years go by with no visit. That's absolutely ridiculous. Well its been 13 years without Insurance and no Dr. visits. I have some worries nothing that a simple physical wouldn't find , at least that's what I think. I would have to pay out of pocket so my thought is a physical looks you all over . A starting point. That's not the case. The associate that took my call said if you want anything to be looked at closer because I might have a concern. That is acute and would be a separate visit and test. To be honest I have many points of interest none are hurting me just i notice things are not the same as i was when younger. Wouldn't a physical be used to look for the unknown but also be used for the concerned points of interest. Like shouldn't The doctor say do you have any concerns that I should take a closer look at to see if more visits are necessary. What should be a checkup is a joke by her definition. Basically useless. Especially since I can only afford the one visit and a test or two at first. By the time I do all the separate appointment s for each concern which aren't even hurting me I would have made a dozen or more appointments that a physical should have covered anyway. I know test samples etc would require more money, but the visits would take me broke . I'm feeling great, just older . The physical should not be called a physical by Dr. Hartigs staffs description It should be called a scam . If the doctor looks in your throat and I say Its not the same anymore but doesnt hurt Just feels off, It becomes another visit. Without the doctor even looking. I thought a physical is a comprehensive look at the extremities and a detailed look into the nose , mouth and ears to find problems. If The doctor looks at points of interest that I ask special its extra just to look again . I know they need to make money. But this is a whole new level of taking my very limited money. There is know such thing as a hippocratic oath anymore. My doctor does not have my best interest at heart I feel. I will wait till I get insurance or get sick then I can say this spot is a problem. Then sell my stuff to pay for it then. What gets me is Illegals and welfare recipients get all this covered and more for free, but I get screwed because I work for living but technically am in poverty. This I know from watching my best friend get treated for many expensive things while on ebt and more. I will not call Dr Hartigs office ever again. They treated me like a stranger and not a faithful patient that I always was. Dr Hartigs office is nothing more than a money machine and not a friend of the family like one would expect from myself and extended family's previous use of his services. Good bye Dr. Hartig Thanks for nothing, Gordon Helldorfer
My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Hartig since he started his practice. He has treated both of us professionally and personally to the fullest extent. When it was necessary, he referred us to specialists who took great care of us. He found my prostate cancerous tumor 22 years ago and advised me to have a second opinion. After receiving a Radical Prostatectomy at Johns Hopkins, he has continued to follow up with blood tests, etc. and great advice. I hope he continues to practice for years. We both owe a lot to him and his staff.
Takes the time to speak with you about your care and preventive procedures. Does not only treat the symptom but the cause and prevention of recurrence.
Dr Hartig and the nurse practitioners are outstanding! But be prepared for a very cool reception from the front desk... They say medical staff can make or break a practice. These women at the front desk...brunette and and the short hair blonde....ruin this practice. They are miserable, unhappy, rude, and have the worst phone etiquette. It's a shame.
Dr. Hartig is the best doctor; he spends time talking with his patient; he never rushes through during the visit. Thank you for your wonderful work.
You can't find better medical care than Megan Schepter! Thanks Megan! Jestina
so far very happy
I have never had an experience with a more incompetent group of individuals. Between the actual doctor's office, the rude nurse practitioners or the billing office it is near impossible to have anything close to a good experience dealing with this office. My whole family used to go to the office in cockeysville until we all had terrible experiences with the NP's. I have called requesting to speak to Dr. Hartig multiple times and have been told he refuses to talk to me. Very unprofessional.
Have been a patient of Dr. Hartig & Jenepher Piper for over 20 years and have always highly recommended them. Their care, interest and right on diagnosis is why I have come to fully rely on them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
