Alexandra Alvarez's Online Review Report Card

I was just here today! Patrick helped me schedule my appt last week. Rich was great at the front desk and answered all my questions regarding my insurance. Dr. Alvarez was efficient and amazing (my second time seeing her) and Cindy was awesome when explaining my benefits and costs. See you next year for my next eye exam!

I normally don’t leave reviews ever but I had to come on and leave this review because of how poorly Dr. Alexandra Alvarez preformed at this location first off she has zero patience and gave very false eye exam we took my 15 year old in to have a eye exam because he was having some problems with his eyes Dr Alvarez performed a eye exam on him that was extremely rushed and never gave him even 1 second before switching to next letter she was very rude and has poor bed side matter seemed almost uneducated in this line of work from very start of the exam I noticed how much she was rushing my son she got him very nervous because she had him on such pressure well we left Dr. Alexandra Alvarez with a very bad eye report she said my sons eyes was 20/70 and couldn’t be correct with prescription and he was to old {15} to correct this issue she maid us feel as if we was failure as parents that we did not find this issue sooner she told us this needed to be corrected between ages of 5/10 years and not much could be done with his eyes and she could not prescribe a prescription because he was past that point so you can understand how we must have felt leaving my eye doctor that day I immediately got my son into wilmar eye in Baltimore it’s #3 in the USA for best eye doctors they said they do not no why he was given that bad eye report or why she said it could not be corrected with glasses because leaving wilmar eye we got way way better reports almost night and day on what she said and he has mild Prescription and guess what glasses can correct it also my son gets routine check ups physicals every year this is something that just came to bother him so I’m writing this so no other parent goes threw what we did with this doctor

This doctor was unprofessional and very rude we visited her at my eye clinic in Columbia Maryland me and my husband took my 15 year old for eye exam and this doctor told me my sons vision was so bad that it probably was not gonna be able to be correct with eye wear basically told us we was unfit parents for not attending to this sooner she told me my sons vision was 20/70 and left there and took ...
