List of Frank M. Nezu's Reviews
Dr. Nezu is dedicated and passionate. His support staff is undermanned and overwhelmed. Chesapeake Urology needs to step up and help their doctors.
I returned to Dr. Kishel (same practice) last year, after many years with him in the past. He had a great "bedside" manner, normally was on time for his appointments, took time with me, setup good game plans, and truly came across as caring for his patients. Had Nezu today and it was quite the opposite experience. I will not be returning.
A glitzy, high-priced office. Good radiologist. Nice intake nurse. So-so doctor himself. But the intake staff are not pleasant and I do not plan to return.
Didn't listen to my problems. Interrupted me while I was speaking. Rushed me out of his office.
Didn’t listen to my problems. Interrupted me while I was speaking. Rushed me out of his office. Worst part is that the bill was extremely expensive.
The combination of extraordinary knowledge with the epitome of professionalism and a truly unique empathetic bedside manner, make for a doctor I want as my personal physician. Doctor Nezu is a rare commodity in a physician that is honest, frank and direct. He expresses his diagnosis in detail, list courses of action and then gives his opinion of what he would do under the circumstances. In the end, he then asks my opinion. Because of his chosen field of expertise, he routinely deals with sensitive issues that are deeply personal. Again, his honest and frank responses give the patient comfort and hope. Appointments are like one regular guy talking to another guy. The result is Dr. Nezu is "my kinda guy." I would without hesitation, recommend Dr. Nezu to my friends and family. He has earned my trust and confidence.
Very thorough- great bedside manner- completely satisfied with my results.
I was "assigned" to Dr. Nezu after our 2nd urologist left the practice. He has been disinterested, has not reviewed my husband's chart, slow to respond to phone calls. It is very difficult to view him as the manager of my prostate cancer.
I was reading the reviews for Dr. Nezu and I was absolutely horrified at the review that accused him and his staff of horrible examination practices. There is no way that Dr. Frank Nezu or his staff did any of those things. It is obvious that the person who wrote the terrible review had never actually been in that office. The exam rooms are not set up where anyone could just "traipse through the room". Never could have occurred. Dr. Nezu is absolutely one of the most personable and caring physicians I ever encountered. Never rushed, explains thoroughly, offers alternatives to intrusive treatments and/or medication, makes calls himself to give follow up lab results and recommendations, and I could go on and on. The staff who assist the doctors and the medical receptionists who greet patients are such professionals and I am indeed horrified at the thought that they were defamed in such a manner. I absolutely believe that none of what was in that review was anything but an attempt to defame Dr. Nezu and his practice. If any of it had been true, he would no longer have a practice other than the Maryland House of Corrections. Review written by The Conway's.
Dr. Nezu is always friendly and happy to answer any questions. He performed surgery on me for BPH over 8 years ago with great results and all continues to be fine.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
