one of the therapist I've seen posted on Facebook about blowing someone up with an explosive pager....in lieu of events that happened in Lebanon, very humane, considering children were mamed and killed
Kolmac continues to be a trusted provider, offering a wide range of services with high accessibility to all areas in Maryland and DC.
Wonderful group of people saving lives every day. The team works hard to break down the stigma surrounding mental health and substance use disorder.
I have witnessed my best friend go through the ringer with multiple programs and it's always the same song and dance. Kolmac, thank you for doing something different, my friend is able to have a life in recovery while attending your program.
Thank GOD for this program. I am still a patient in CC, I graduated from IOP and this was the first time I was able to do treatment while still working. In the past the other programs I have attended would not allow me to work for 30 days. Thanks to Kolmac, I didn't have to lose everything this time. I am choosing long term recovery this time. Hopefully this helps someone. The staff here saved me. THANK YOU
This place is a joke and they steal money from you. Stay far away. First, they do not put the patient first. All they care about is if they get your insurance money. They do not hesitate to cut you off from treatment if they do not get your insurance money, copay, or co-insurance right away. This interrupts treatment and doesn’t prioritize patient care. They will never reach out to you about these situations until they don’t have their money. They take money out of your account at random times and sometimes double the amount without warning. This makes it impossible to plan for, especially if you are on a strict budget. No bills, emails, or statements are ever sent to the patient. When they finally get reimbursed from your insurance company they never pay you back the money you paid originally. They place the money into a “credit” account that they never tell you about. Basically holding your money while also collecting money from the insurance company. You won’t find about this “credit” account until you call and talk to several people. This is surely illegal. It would make sense that the “credits” you accumulate would go toward future treatment sessions but they do not. There is also false promises and information from the support staff including supervisors, billing, and chart documentation. No one seems to communicate or even know other supervisors. If you have a problem with billing or treatment, They will tell you that they will talk to bosses and supervisors about the issue, however when you speak to the person they said they would talk to ,the other support staff is not aware of a situation or at times not even know who the supervisor you spoke to is. On top of all this the treatment sessions are not taken seriously. I chose to do my sessions online and that was new to me. The clinical counselor that I had allowed the patients to go to the store, smoke on camera, and even drive while on zoom sessions. My counselor also would forget what we talked about in the session before and do the same lesion again the next session. Feedback was hardly given and I got nothing out of the 3 hour sessions. They allow patients who are not serious about recovery to stay, give no feedback, nor pay attention, while they kick out patients who are serious about recovery (me) and attend most of their session due not receiving the copay or co-insurance immediately. They will also tell you about a payment plan however it is not true. Finally, I just wasted 2 months of valuable recovery time at Kolmac.
They care about money only not your mental health. Should be a crime how they operate. They will tell you to take a break until insurance is paid up even though they spoke with them and knew payments are in route. Thankfully I'm not in a place where I would wanna do harm to my self or others but if I was Kolmac wouldn't help. And my counselor is nice but offers no direction. Last time too Joel porter did something similar when my daughter was born. And they add more days to your program to charge you more. Criminal activities it feel like. Now three week kick out due to billing and they were paid. Seem like unethical or incompetent people in billing. The rate is always changing and now trying to better my life and finish programs and no reply from billing. Emailed CEO AND EMAIL BLOCKED. Emailed to the reply to this feedback@kolmac and no reply. It's amazing how they been around for years and treat people this way. Looking to see if legal action can be taken. They are no taking me or my concerns seriously and just wanted to finish what I started . Real review would be -10 stars. Come on KOLMAC YOUR DEALINGS WITH MENTAL HEALTH AND ACTING LIKE YOU'RE A BURGER JOINT
Amazing working with this addiction and recovery center! Kudos for the great work you do.
Their staff is excellent. I highly recommend them.
All the positive reviews are from people that work there. Red flag. No thanks

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
